Is there anyone else after casting get hungry when the spell is done? That the side effect I get
Yes. I always have a glass of water and something small to nibble on, a cookie or something. An old school witch recommended to me to have these and eat and drink something small always after a spell.
There are lots of different side effects we can experience after them, aren’t there.
For me, I haven’t noticed anything yet. But I have a tendency to make myself a milk tea afterwards, anyway. So, maybe I also have the hungry thing, I just don’t get a chance to notice it.
Eating and drinking are supposed to help ground the extra energy. That’s what I’ve always heard.
Hi @john1,
Casting spells takes energy and focus, so like any activity that draws on your resources it’s natural to feel the urge to replenish yourself afterwards! I don’t think there’s anything wrong with treating oneself to a little snack post-spellwork
That being said, if you feel famished post-spellwork, you may want to check in on how much energy you are spending. When you cast spells, are you drawing from your personal energy stores, or are you drawing on outside energy? This might be from a deity, the elements, nature, the Universe, etc.
Our own energy stores are limited, so tapping into other sources can open more doors and take the burden off ourselves. Just a suggestion on the table you might consider!
Wishing you all the best with your casting and snacking- blessed be, John!
