All right, who's been littering?

I’ll stick to the desert, thanks. We do have volcanoes and a branch of the San Andreas all the way out here, but I haven’t felt any earthquakes since I moved out here in 2007. I think I’m pretty safe for now. The position of the mountains keeps us from getting hurricanes, tornadoes, or wildfires, so I am grateful for that. Silly humans put nuclear bombs out here, but if WWIII happens like the 1980’s predicted, I’d rather be right under them anyway.

That is so cool. I don’t think we have shark nets in the US. I am going to sell my house and move to Australia. I will let the hubby, kids, and grand kids know in a little while when we are eating the Thanksgiving meal. Lol! :australia: :boomerang: :kangaroo:

We have our fair share of hurricanes and tornadoes in my part of Texas. We don’t have basements because they would flood, so if a tornado comes we only have a closet to go to. I have been in a few tornadoes when I was a child and as an adult and it’s really scary. :tornado:

I was raised in Indiana… terrified on a regular biweekly basis every spring and fall. Yes, it kept me working on my books with more discipline so I wouldn’t lose so much if anything did happen, but a body gets tired of living in fear all the time.

Edit: Not to mention that as we get older, time shortens, so there is more work to be done and less time to do it within.

When I was in the second grade I remember it getting dark outside. It was pitch black dark at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. My 7 year old self wasn’t alarmed, I was just pretending I was in night school. All of the grown ups were alarmed and they put us in the hallway. My mom showed up to pick me and my brother up (that was weird, because we usually walked home). There was a woman picking up her kids and she left her baby in the car. There was a lot of things flying around outside and my mom somehow went straight to that woman’s car and got the baby. Our school gym’s roof flew off. When we left the school I remember the debris everywhere. Anyone with a car port in our neighborhood didn’t have one anymore.

Funny thing is, it happens so fast that there isn’t much time to think. Everything that happens is pure magick. Your mother was a miraculous guardian angel to that baby.

I think an angel showed her wear the baby was. Out of all the cars in the parking lot, she went straight to it.

Isn’t it? I feel a rabbit hole coming on… :joy:

That is one potential theory! And for sure, I wouldn’t bring any of those home - no, thank you! :no_good_woman:
