Do you know what mycelium is?

Whoever made the Avatar movie knew it.

Mycelium, or mycorrysis, is a fungus that expands underground, creating a network of connections between all plant species, something like the Internet, which allows them not only to communicate, but also to take care of themselves, protect themselves, and feed themselves. Stock up on the water

When a tree in the forest is cut down, this mycelium communicates to too many trees in the forest that one of them is dying and all the other trees through the mycelium begin to care for the remaining trunk to try to save that life. They feed it with water and protect it because that dying trunk is part of the forest family.

Everything has a language. It is the universal language.

We learn to reconnect with this non-verbal language, understanding that we are all part of the same thing.

We still have a lot to learn from our older brothers, from the trees and the forest and above all from Our Mother Earth.

Love and Light.

I shared this with my students, and I think it would also be enjoyable for adults.

Nevada, here in the U.S., Is famous for the age of our Bristlecone Pines (which are discussed at the beginning).

I’ve been reading a lot about this… not really on purpose, but you all know I read everyting. I first discovered what a big deal mycelium are in the book ā€œFinding the Mother Treeā€. Scientists are finally learning SO much about how EVERYTHING is connected. I think it’s amazing. It’s amazing that the collective knowledge of our ancestors is so spot on all the time… and amazing that science is finally able to ā€œproveā€ these things too. It’s all coming together in a way to make sense for more people. What an amazing world we live in!

Believe it or not, we witches can tap into and use that tree root web!

There are few Maple trees around here, so when I found some, I hugged them and spent some time with them. They figured out I wouldn’t hurt them, and I gave them a bit of water once in a while.

When I heard that someone I knew was going to be in the area, I hugged a tree and thought about the individual. My imagined picture of that person was so strong and was connected with emotional memories. I found myself growing roots of my own. Electrical impulses, like brain waves, moved through the ground from tree to bush to grass to other underground beings, searching for the personality described by the emotional memories. No arrival at that time.

Before I left the underground state of awareness, I asked my tree guide if these connections traveled all over the world. It showed me desert areas with nothing but sand, mountain rocks and frozen ground where no roots grew, and rare areas of deep ocean where life was harder to reach. Otherwise, yes.

The only trouble was once reached, how would the plant life communicate with an unaware human?! I’d been helped to see because I wasn’t attempting to communicate with the individual I sought; I was just seeking a presence.

Just thought I’d share that in case it could come in handy. Remember communication on that level is via images and feelings, not in words.

This makes me think of the movie Fern Gully. I’ve always felt that the plants and trees had a way of communicating with each other. I now understand it! Thank you for sharing this! :purple_heart::purple_heart::purple_heart:

This is awesome! I’ve never thought about my grounding when I’m outside next to the trees as connecting into their root system. I’m going to try and connect more with my trees next time I’m outside meditating. Thank you for this! :purple_heart::purple_heart::purple_heart:

In a grove of Aspen trees, they are all connected by their root systems.
