I guess I watch too much TV and read too many comics and stuff. Like, whenever a meditation talks about love I remember a singer from the very old Battlestar Galactica movie from the 70s’! Or when during a guided meditation we’re supposed to imagine a campfire, I remember the campfire from the 4H camps I went to a LONG time ago. LOL! I just have weird images.

Ah! The pilot episode. The casino near the tyleum mines where everyone wins! The singers have multiple mouths! The female with the bass voice was inspiring!
YES! So glad someone else besides me has this in their brain! I used to watch that movie a LOT as a kid. And I’d watch the series when it came on after school when I got home. I was kind of addicted to it for a while, that and Buck Rogers and Classic Trek.

I wasn’t allowed to watch Star Trek. Mom didn’t like the fact that Captain Kirk had another woman every episode. She didn’t want me to grow up with the image of woman as a plaything for a man. Instead, we’d switch channels to some musical show like Sha Na Na, Tony Orlando and Dawn, Sonny and Cher, Captain and Tenielle, Carole Burnette, or something like In Search Of or Nova.
Did you ever see the tv show about the Atlantean who got his power from the sun? It didn’t run very long, but everyone thinks I’m crazy for remembering something that they think doesn’t exist. He had long blond hair, would sit cross legged in meditation, and used a necklace charm to capture the rays of the sun and focus them for his use.

That sounds vaguely familiar. Hmm. It was sort of an alien on the run with the Government after him?
Sigh. So many sci-fi shows, so little memory. LOL!
