- Calm waters. Peaceful lakes and streams and woodland areas.
- Fire Lizard! From The Dragonriders of Pern series, they are basically a miniature dragon that are telepathically bonded to you. If that’s my mythical enough, then maybe a phoenix? I like fire, okay?
- Hmm, a cream of mushroom soup, grilled chicken with sun dried tomatoes and a risotto, and maybe chocolate ice cream. Yum!
- Sadly, no. I’m beginning to think the Universe has lost my phone number.
- Candles. Oh, no, I got some special Fall incenses. Nice!
*** When you hear the word “serene”, what do you think of?**
I am a closet art fan. I would go with some of the mellow impressionist works. Seurat for instance.
- If your familiar could be any mystical/mythical creature, what would you choose?
- If you could design a 3-course meal, what would be on your menu?
Lobster, Wagyu steak, double stuffed potato, Shiraz wine. Baked Alaska
- Have you watched/seen/heard anything lately, that made you feel as though it was a message for you?
Mostly in card draws but not every time. Yesterday was one in Lenormand
- What is the last Crafty item you bought?
Poppet materials
-
When you hear the word “serene”, what do you think of? - I think of calm waters like a stream or a lake!
-
If your familiar could be any mystical/mythical creature, what would you choose? - A unicorn
- My current familiar is the Owl
though WHICH I absolutely LOVE
btw! -
If you could design a 3-course meal, what would be on your menu? - This is too hard for me lol
-
Have you watched/seen/heard anything lately, that made you feel as though it was a message for you? - Every single day!
-
What is the last Crafty item you bought? - Last night I bought more Jars
, Crystal Chips, Herbs
, and a Ritual Kit for Mabon! WOOT WOOT!
Well slap me sideways, it’s Saturday!
I don’t know about y’all, but I could definitely use a little chill time, so feel free to join me as I slide into the weekend.
- Do you like jelly?
- Do you stick to traditional meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or are you more adventurous?
- Are you thinking about Halloween yet?
- Is there anything Crafty you take with you everywhere?
- Tell us one thing you would like to improve on in the next week.
Here are my answers:
- YESSSSSS! It is a food group and should be worshipped as such, especially seeing as it’s good for healthy hair and nails!
- Definitely more adventurous. For starters, I rarely have all 3 in one day, especially breakfast - I used to love cereal, more so in the winter when we had it with warm milk, but not so much anymore. As for mixing it up, well, as soon as I learned that in China they sometimes have stir fry for breakfast, my mind was blown and my view on food possibilities changed lol. Now, I feel no way about having Chinese for breakfast, or a fry-up for dinner; as long as it is food and I want to eat it, I will - regardless of the time! I know, I’m such a rebel lol!
- No, but I think that’s because it’s ingrained in my psyche as a “bad” holiday as far as the Christians were concerned. Then again, I genuinely never understood the concept of trick or treating; we were always told to never take sweets from strangers, yet every year, parents would encourage their kids to leave the house alone and go knock on doors to ask strangers for sweets. That said, I haven’t denied K the opportunity to join in at school and dress up like my parents did with us; she’s the angel, repping the good in the world!
- I have a few keyrings consecrated for different purposes, 2 talismans to protect K and I, and a few coins. I suppose one of my faves is the Gandalf keyring where he’s in front of the Elvish door; I wanted the one which immortalises his best line, “You Shall Not Pass!”, but it was sold out of course… I’ll get it one day.
- My me time. It’s been totally off balance for weeks due to the holidays, and K’s not back at school yet so I need to put more effort into my me time… it’s a process!
Have a magickal weekend!

I like jam and preserves more than jelly, just because they’re heavier and fruitier (is that a word?
) but I do like jelly, too! I buy only those without the high fructose corn syrup - both for myself and for the Oriole feeder. Love the birds.
-
I’m only adventurous when on vacation with breakfast and lunch - otherwise, yeah, I tend to stick with plain yogurt and granola for breakfast, and soups or something with hummus for lunch. We mix up dinner much more. On vacation, I eat whatever looks yummy (which is usually quite a lot!)
-
Not yet, in any serious way. It’ll be a different story as soon as the pumpkins start showing up at the stores.
-
I used to have an awesome woven Keychain, which went threadbare and unraveled years ago. Nothing since.
-
Time management! I feel like I’ve been running behind since we got back from vacation.
- I tend to buy blackberry jam more than jelly. But that’s just because that’s what I like and what the store has.
- I usually do oatmeal or leftovers for breakfast. It’s too early to think about cooking. LOL!
- YES! I want to decorate already and I’ve changed my ringtone to Witch’s Road and I’m just waiting for the Equinox to play
- My pendants. I usually wear a different type of witchy looking necklace everywhere.
- I found a new way to connect to the Gods. I want to start trying it tomorrow and see if I can do it. Fingers crossed!
- I have a feeling that jelly in the UK is what we call Jello in Canada/US ? I don’t eat gelatin so nope. But yes to jam! We have lots of local farm stands that sell jams which I love!
- Usually a bit traditional but I’m also happy to have leftover dinner for breakfast (which my family finds strange). We love to sometimes have a breakfast dinner like pancakes/waffles or scramble.
- Definitely! I can’t wait to bring out the decorations which I am patiently waiting to do on Oct 1st.
- A couple of protective necklaces, a grounding ring, a mini spell jar for communication, and a little herb pouch.
- Stress management, mostly through better sleep and meditation. I’m feeling high stress lately and visibly losing more hair

I’m guessing you are referring to gelatin, commonly called Jell-o over here in the US, rather than jam or preserves, which are commonly called jelly here.
If so, my answer is - I enjoy it in a trifle, with fruit and cream etc but on its own, not so much.
My husband does the cooking in our house, so for dinner at least, we have traditional meals. Breakfast for me is usually cinnamon raisin loaf, toasted and buttered, with a cup of tea. If I have lunch, it’s usually a sandwich of some sort.
Yes I’m thinking of Halloween, but I won’t decorate. I used to go all out decorating for Halloween, and then change it all out for harvest/Thanksgiving and then change it out again for Christmas. But in recent years we’ve been heading out of town at that time of year and not decorating until Christmas. This year we are heading up to the rental cabin we go to a lot, for our anniversary on October 30. We’ll be going up on Oct 28 and driving back on the 31st. We’ll pick up candy on the way home, so we have something to give the trick or treaters.
Other than my witchy ring, as I call it, I don’t really have anything craft related that I take everywhere.
Every week I say I will do better at setting daily intentions, and every week I suck at it. So maybe next week will be the week.
- Do you like jelly?
Jelly, jam, preserves, marmalade - love them all - maybe they are all the same… or close enough. Has anyone tried spicy ketchup, a jar of grape jam and meatballs with toothpicks as a party treat?
- Do you stick to traditional meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or are you more adventurous?
We vary things at times. Shrimp Creole or Gonzo salad (chicken strips with lots of salad fixings all together). We go for ordinary a lot, too. Loaded cheeseburgers and potato salad are a favorite.
- Are you thinking about Halloween yet?
Hard not to. Our consumer culture is in full swing. Our neighborhood has gone off decorating… everyone used to put up all kinds of things but the past few years it has been pretty vanilla.
- Is there anything Crafty you take with you everywhere?
I have a car witch bag. My bracelet is like a witch rosary and I play with it all the time.
- Tell us one thing you would like to improve on in the next week.
I was injured a few weeks ago and I’m just getting back into shape. I need to extend my exercise routine to build up some of my lost steam.
Sheesh. I didn’t even think of that. Yes, I like Jello. I just don’t eat it much. If I’m going to eat sugar, I want some heft to the food, instead of it just being there. LOL!
I didn’t think of it that way, either! In the US we do have a succession of fruit spreads, the heavier being preserves and the lightest being jelly. Which I like!
But I like Jell-O too! However, I do draw the line with floating/suspending chunks of fruit in it when prepared from scratch, like pineapple. Icky. ![]()
I didn’t even think of the difference ![]()
![]()
yes I was talking about what y’all call Jell-O! So interesting the differences across the water, so over there jelly is a type of jam? Fascinating!
x Blessed Be x
Exactly - think of it like a jam-lite. ![]()
I stick to preserves and jams, but for the Orioles I buy the jelly since it’s cheaper, as long as it has no high fructose corn syrup.
1.Do you like jelly?
Yes I do, although I do not eat it much.
2.Do you stick to traditional meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or are you more adventurous?
Depends, breakfast is kinda of yoghurt and fruit
or protein drink. On holiday it’s all up in air so to speak. Back in the day after a few
drinks and a hefty hangover left over pizza
or curry
has been breakfast/lunch:see_no_evil_monkey:…safe to safe those days are gone ![]()
3.Are you thinking about Halloween yet?
Yes I am, over the years I didn’t bother I guess my daughter grew up moved on had her own family so I suppose I was a bit of a Grinch
…however that said I am going to decorate this year, my static caravan. This is because of my witchy ![]()
journey. So I have been buying now and me and my granddaughter going to do some pumpkin
carving and decorating ![]()
4.Is there anything Crafty you take with you everywhere?
I like my chains, witchy vibe, labradorite necklace, and I carry different crystals in a pouch, oh and like to wear different witchy/stone rings.
- Tell us one thing you would like to improve on in the next week.
Meditation, journaling and less procrastinating, rather good at that ![]()
Tickle-me-silly Tuesday? Wild Wednesday? Something in between. Tickle me wild Twensday, let’s go with that ![]()
Yes, I love the texture. If it’s super sweet, even better! ![]()
Surprisingly traditional. The times vary a lot with my chaotic sleep pattern though. And sometimes I realize that oops it’s late and I’m hungry, takeout it is ![]()
It’s always Halloween in my house
I’m happy the rest of the world is joining in though.
And I can feel the veil thinning. I’ve made friends with a cute necromancer voodoo priestess, I’ll be looking forward what that connection brings this time of the year. I’ve already had a rather memorable introduction with Baron Samedi, and I think Maman Brigitte wants to come say hi too.

My Lilith necklace, gifted to me and blessed by a witch who’s sometimes active here, you know who you are. ![]()
It has a drop of blood on it and the sigil of Black Moon Lilith in silver. I am her daughter, and committed to live my devotion to her in my daily life. ![]()
This week? I don’t know, it’s been a wild ride and I’m feeling so aligned
I did promise my girlfriend to be more with her. I’m driven by dopamine and synchronicities, like probably quite a few ADHD chaos witches here too
And I’ve been spending a lot of time with another one like me, and giiiirrrl do we amplify each other
![]()
When we first met (with this witch), we drew two cards from the Thoth Tarot deck… Passion/Lust and Balance/Adjustment. Solve et coagula, kind of, just realized
But the Balance does also mean balance with pre-existing parts of our lives, the ones we don’t want to render unto the void.
![]()
I’m liking the idea of bringing over some of that Lust too with my girlfriend. She’s been very busy with her work, but we’ll come up with something, and think Lilith will be happy to help us there too…

Hello to All!
Another flying week, and we’re almost finished with the weekend too, which means another week is on the horizon… and what better way to say goodbye to the weekend than with a little fun? Enjoy!
1- Which shape or symbol do you feel you resemble and why?
2- Which movie genre is your favourite, or are you an eclectic kind of viewer?
3- Do you have any end of the week rituals, things you do each Sunday before the week ahead?
4- Do you have a bucket list?
5- Tell us something random we don’t know about you - keep it light!
Here are my answers:
1- I’m most like my favourite shape, a star: often in the shadows but always there, when I shine I shine brightly, and I always leave a sparkle.
2- I’m more of an eclectic viewer, although I do love my fantasy/sci-fi/action combos.
3- Not really, I used to but now it’s just about making sure I have everything my daughter needs for the coming week lol!
4- Not one I’ve thought about, no. When I was younger, there were things I wanted to feel and experience, things I’ve ticked; being in a pyramid in Egypt, walking through a jungle during a storm (I’m a Jurassic Park fan), swimming with a dolphin, honeymoon in Jamaica, being on tv and radio and in a newspaper (although those didn’t happen the way I’d pictured lol). I’ve lived a few lives, so I’m grateful for any new memories I can make before I lose the old ones haha!
5-If I eat Apple Tango and a banana or two, it makes me hyper… don’t ask why, or how I found that out lol!
May you have a magickal week
x Blessed Be x
1- Which shape or symbol do you feel you resemble and why? I try to resemble light whenever I can! Light can be bright and confident or soft and comforting - I try to let my energy shine in ways that help others.
2- Which movie genre is your favourite, or are you an eclectic kind of viewer? I am a fantasy girl all the way - though I also love Jurassic Park (like a lot) and historical dramas.
3- Do you have any end of the week rituals, things you do each Sunday before the week ahead? I always get my calendar together for the week ahead and make sure my school work is turned in. Then I have self-care Sunday, which usually involves a ritual bath and meditation of some sort, reading, and whatever else I find myself drawn to!
4- Do you have a bucket list? I do, but it’s morphed over time. Most of my bucket list revolves around places I want to travel. I want to go to Scotland so badly. I have such a pull to go there! I am working on making that a reality sometime in the next few years! That’s probably the biggest thing on my bucket list right now. I have a lot of things I’ve checked off - swimming in a waterfall, seeing wild dolphins, hearing Yo Yo Ma perform live, I’ve been on TV and the radio and in the newspaper, I’ve won some pretty significant awards and been recognized for my work (although I love being recognized.. hello, Leo… and I’m up for that anytime!). Now my bucket list seems more seasonal and focused on making memories and traditions with my family - like what things do I want to do each season that they will remember and pass on to their kids?
5- Tell us something random we don’t know about you - keep it light! I’m a movie star!
I have about 10 seconds of screen time in the movie Seabiscuit. My college friends and I went to be extras in the movie and somehow got sorted into the area for paid extras rather than the general crowd. It was wild. So, in one scene, you can see me running across a field cheering for a horse in the race. It was frigid that day, but we had so much fun… and I feature on the silver screen!
I missed the last two weeks, here are mine:
-
Do you like jelly? - Not a huge fan.
-
Do you stick to traditional meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or are you more adventurous? - I usually eat one meal a day. Dinner.
-
Are you thinking about Halloween yet? - Started thinking about it yesterday!
-
Is there anything Crafty you take with you everywhere? - My new Triple Moon Pentacle necklace.
-
Tell us one thing you would like to improve on in the next week. - I made a promise to myself two months ago that I want to do two Rituals a week, but I’ve been so sick, that I was only able to do it one or two times. I want to get back on top of this promise to myself.
-
Which shape or symbol do you feel you resemble and why? - The Triple Goddess
-
Which movie genre is your favourite, or are you an eclectic kind of viewer? - Comedy
-
Do you have any end of the week rituals, things you do each Sunday before the week ahead? - Nothing official, but i like to review my week to see what I could have done better.
-
Do you have a bucket list? - YES!
-
Tell us something random we don’t know about you - I started a knitting business in 2018.
Yay! FUN!
- Pear. Because that’s pretty much my body shape. LOL!
- I’m an eclectic viewer. About the only genres I don’t like are romance and westerns. Unless there’s something stalking and eating them, like in Bone Tomahawk. LOL!
- Not really. Sometimes I make sure that I have everything in my purse I’ll need to go out the next day, but that’s about it.
- Nope. There’s a hole in my bucket.
- Umm, I won a hog calling contest at school in Fifth Grade. I won a pound of good bacon! LOL!
Can I have your autograph? LOL! That must have been a fun experience.
Back in the 1950’s America, teens would call conservatives “square.”
Ever since high school, I introduced myself thus: “I don’t smoke. I don’t drink. I don’t do drugs. I don’t dance. I don’t believe in having sex with someone I’m not married to. I don’t cuss unless I get really angry, and it’s difficult to get me to that point. I’m a perfect square, except I’m a little round (patting my tummy and turning slightly pink).”
I tend to prefer kid’s movies and musicals, but my collection betrays a more eclectic side. Mostly, variations occur due to seasonal changes. Swashbucklers in the fall. Comedies through winter or to lighten trauma. Beach Blanket Bingo or car racing in early spring. Snowy films in summer (cause that’s what showed on TV in my youth). Christmas in July to avoid heavy emotions during the holidays. Halloween, psychology, disaster, or history flix any time I want to face or heal from shadows. Space films when I feel like I don’t belong. Philosophy anytime!
Weekends are my catch up days. I like to do housework on weekends, but mostly, I finish off what I didn’t get done during the week.
I often tell myself I want to go back to favorite places before I leave. Most of what others might call a bucket list have already been done in my life. This summer, I had some extra money and spent it going through so many wonderful places, sharing with a teenager and his grandmother, that I now feel deeply satisfied.
Ooh! Gotta pull that one out and look at it again! For most, it’s an animal film; but for Mom, it was history.
?!? I have too many random trivialities! I was a stage actress. Sang in a foreign language in my church choir (in America, this is rare). I feel like I’m bragging over nothing, so I’ll hush up, now.
