Yes! I was an only child, so it was always just the 3 of us, and they were the only people who knew everything about me, my history. The idea that there is no one left to share that with is surreal.
A few days after my mom passed, a friend (who is also an only child who lost both of his parents) asked me how it felt to be an orphan. My response was (and still is) that it is both completely terrifying and completely liberating at the same time, but it does leave me wondering who I am without them here to guide me.

I started as a teenager too, I had collected some great witchy stuff, a crystal ball, books, etc. My dad threw it all away one day! I was so sad, and I didnāt get back into it for several years after my dad died.
I dream of living in the middle of a forest with lots of sunflowers. It sounds perfect to me! I plant as many as I can in the small yard where I live.
