(Group Ritual - Jan 7) 🌄 A Fresh New Brew

A very warm welcome to all!

2020 has faded into memory and we are taking our first few steps into 2021. With the influence of the Age of Aquarius and your new year’s goals in mind- this is a wonderful time for a fresh start :sun_with_face:

Take a moment to share a cup with your coven- welcoming in the brand new you with a fresh new brew! :coffee::laughing:

~ :sunrise_over_mountains: ~ Thursday, January 7th - A Fresh New Brew ~ :sunrise_over_mountains: ~

Find some time to join in for a tea meditation - an easy and beginner-friendly meditative practice to help you focus your mind and draw in your energies :woman_in_lotus_position:

Although we are physically spread out across the world, it is possible to come together and share our energies and support when we share a quiet moment together.

Let’s enjoy a relaxing and peaceful tea time as a coven- you are warmly invited!

Ready? Let’s begin

  • Choose your beverage . While tea is the standard, it is perfectly fine to do this meditation with coffee, juice, or any other beverage :coffee:

  • Find a quiet place to relax . Find somewhere where you can let go of outside disturbances. If you’d like, you may decide to cast a circle or cleanse the space before you begin :candle:

  • Focus your intent . You can follow any style or type of meditation you choose- focus on your breath and thoughts and be present in this moment :woman_in_lotus_position:

  • Work some magick! While meditation is a magickal and healing process all on its own, you may choose to add an additional element of magick to your tea time.

(Optional: Jan 7th) : A Fresh New Brew :sunrise_over_mountains:

Draw on the refreshing energy in the air and welcome in positive changes for the new you with this special tea meditation.

This week’s ritual is inspired by @Silverbear’s You Can Always Begin Again Ritual and @Mrs’s post You Can Always Start Again.

  1. Begin by holding your hand over your empty cup. Move your hand in a counter-clockwise circle three times, banishing old and unwanted energy

  2. Place your tea/coffee into your mug and pour hot water in a clockwise, confident that you are now welcoming in good and positive new energy :sun_with_face:

  3. If you wish, you may choose to hold a crystal, talisman, or another symbolic item as you wait for your beverage to steep :gem: Feel the properties of this item filling you up and energizing you.

  4. When your drink is ready, sit quietly and breathe the soothing steam as you sip your beverage. Hold the warm cup and your special item, allowing good things to build up inside you :person_in_lotus_position:

  5. You may choose to focus on your new goals, say positive affirmations, or may speak powerful phrases to confirm your fresh start, like the ones shared by Silverbear:

“I breathe newness, energy, and light into myself.”
“I have fire, passion, and radiance within me.”
“I have begun anew, a fresh start, and I will live my life being, happy, free and with a mended heart.

[These are just a few of Silverbear’s beautiful affirmations- more can be found in her post You Can Always Begin Again]

  1. Carry your crystal, talisman, or other special item with you throughout the day to remind you of your determination and the good things soon to come :sunrise_over_mountains:
  • Enjoy the Benefits of Meditation. After enjoying a soothing beverage and calming moment, you can continue your day with a clear mind, increased focus, and a boost of positivity (and caffeine!)

After your meditation, welcome back!

You are very welcome to share any thoughts or experiences you had during tea time. Share some pics of your tea, your plans for the rest of the week, or just talk about what’s on your mind today.

The hecticness of the holidays is finally winding down- how are you feeling after the seasonal rush? Still enjoying the joys of winter :snowflake: , or are you already ready for spring? :seedling:

It’s been a while since we all shared a cup of tea- I’m looking forward to taking the time to revisit our connection across the miles! :world_map: :hugs:

Love, light, and new year’s well-wishes to all of you! :sparkling_heart:

Oh this will be a good one for me. I need to do this one on Thursday. I think I will join this one after my appointment with the surgeon. I will need some me time after that I think.

I have a breathe easy tea I got when I had my sinus infection. I think I’m going to use it for tea this Thursday. Can’t wait!

Happy, Happy, Happy Thursday everyone!

Yet another grey and rainy day here in Warsaw- I’ve still got my fingers crossed the temperature will drop and it will turn into snow. We’ll see if that wish comes true :cloud_with_snow::crossed_fingers:

I’m sticking to some of my new year’s goals and trying to eat healthy :yum:

I had my tea meditation with a wholesome bowl of oats and fresh fruit today- and of course, a sprinkle of magickal cinnamon to keep the good luck flowing! :brown_heart:

So far so good in the new year- how is everyone else holding up in the first few days of 2021?

Sendings lots of love and big hugs to the coven! :hugs:

Happy Thursday :herb:

Well, I definitely have to say that I did enjoy my first tea time for the year! :hugs:My morning was real hectic but never the less it was worth it after having my tea meditation.

I had 3 short pieces of rosemary, a twist of lime, a pinch of cinnamon and brown sugar for tea today. It was so new but it was good, really loved the taste🥰

The Affirmations from @Silverbear was real touching, which I said x3( the power of three) to help with my meditation along with my Clear Quartz.:dizzy:

I feel so much better and definitely look forward for these new year goals involving education and my online business.:four_leaf_clover:

All the Best

Be Blessed💫

Trying to reorganize my mind and living space this week. Still feeling a bit off-balance after last month so I’m prescribing myself lots of grounding, meditation, cleansing and self-care!

That looks like a gorgeous breakfast @TheTravelWitch!

What’s in the breathe-easy tea @kasie? Sounds like a useful one for this time of year!

How was your appointment @krissie117?

Lots of love to you all :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Did my meditation before i left for work. Sat there drank my usual Tumeric, ginger and honey tea. Like I mentioned, trying to mediate at least 3-4 days per week in front of my altar. Held one of my crystals in my hand and just absorbed the energy for a bit.
First tea-time if the new year!
Blessed be

I was wrong it’s breathe deep, not breathe easy. Still it’s got eucalyptus, thyme, licorice root, tulsi leaf, ginger, cinnamon, elecampane root, peppermint, cardamon, and mullein leaf. It tastes pretty good, and leave my mouth feeling fresh and my airways open.

I had a nice tea time this evening after my nap. It’s nice to think that it’s a new year and that we have a new start. Hope you all had a good Thursday!

Good morning @praecog29 @kasie @TheTravelWitch and everyone! Sorry, I missed tea yesterday but I wanted to let you know that my Dr said no surgery, the MRI of my thumb is normal, it’s just a joint pain I will have to live with but that I am going to be having a splint/brace made for that thumb to keep it in place. So I go to see a hand therapist for that and if by March there is no improvement, they will send me to a hand specialist to see if they have any other ideas. It’s basically an EDS thing, my thumb is dislocating and subluxing (partially dislocating) every day and that is what is causing the pain. I’m also going to be doing my yearly physical therapy and occupational therapy in February.

Good morning @krissie117! No worries about tea time, I almost missed it myself. I’m sorry it’s going to be difficult fixing your thumb. Here’s hoping the splint helps!

Right now the soft brace helps a lot. So I think once I have one that is fitted, it will be much better. I just definitely can’t do the crafts & writing hurts if I do it for too long. I would rather a splint than surgery anyway. So hopefully after my hand gets used to the brace/splint it won’t get tired so fast when I am writing. I’m happy that there aren’t any torn ligaments or tendons though. I was worried that’s what had happened.

Hoping it mends rapidly! Healing light your way!

Thank you! I’m taking it easier and learning some workarounds for now. I’m excited to have a custom splint rather than an off the shelf, but for now the soft braces I have been helping quite a bit. Thank you so much for the kind words! I appreciate them.

As long as you’re getting better, I’m happy for you @krissie117 ! Torn ligaments sound horrible. I’m glad that didn’t happen. Be careful of yourself!
