Find some time to join in for a tea meditation - an easy and beginner-friendly meditative practice to help you focus your mind and draw in your energies
Although we are physically spread out across the world, it is possible to come together and share our energies and support when we share a quiet moment together.
Let’s enjoy a relaxing and peaceful tea time as a coven- you are warmly invited!
Ready? Let’s begin
Choose your beverage . While tea is the standard, it is perfectly fine to do this meditation with coffee, juice, or any other beverage
Focus your intent . You can follow any style or type of meditation you choose- focus on your breath and thoughts and be present in this moment
Work some magick! While meditation is a magickal and healing process all on its own, you may choose to add an additional element of magick to your tea time.
(Optional: Jan 7th) : A Fresh New Brew
Draw on the refreshing energy in the air and welcome in positive changes for the new you with this special tea meditation.
Begin by holding your hand over your empty cup. Move your hand in a counter-clockwise circle three times, banishing old and unwanted energy
Place your tea/coffee into your mug and pour hot water in a clockwise, confident that you are now welcoming in good and positive new energy
If you wish, you may choose to hold a crystal, talisman, or another symbolic item as you wait for your beverage to steep Feel the properties of this item filling you up and energizing you.
When your drink is ready, sit quietly and breathe the soothing steam as you sip your beverage. Hold the warm cup and your special item, allowing good things to build up inside you
You may choose to focus on your new goals, say positive affirmations, or may speak powerful phrases to confirm your fresh start, like the ones shared by Silverbear:
“I breathe newness, energy, and light into myself.”
“I have fire, passion, and radiance within me.”
“I have begun anew, a fresh start, and I will live my life being, happy, free and with a mended heart.
