It’s funny that it’s called the first quarter moon when it really looks like a half moon to me, ha ha! Just another liminal event, how apropos - half full and half-not :slight_smile: I’m doing the Lunar Ritual tonight https://spells8.com/spell-for-today/ Have a great weekend!

Good point! Also if this :first_quarter_moon: is a quarter moon, then is this :full_moon: a half moon?? :thinking:

LOL now the serious answer just in case, it’s called a first quarter moon because it represents 7 days into the month, or one quarter of the full lunar cycle. :nerd_face:
