Hello from North Carolina!

Hi All!
My name is Trey, I’m a 30yr old witch residing in NC, I have always been interested in the craft from a very early age, I recently had some events take place in my life that led me to the path I am on today. I consider myself a solitary eclectic witch, I have been practicing for a few months, and the deity I work with is Cerridwen. I’m interested in all aspects of the craft, but I particularly resonate with herbal magick and divination, I began on this path after talking to another local pagan, who suggested the first book I read which is “Wicca, a guide for the solitary practitioner” by Scott Cunningham, which if you haven’t read this one, it is an excellent place to start, I also really love tarot cards, which is something new I’ve attempted to learn and work on. That’s about it for now, but I did want to introduce myself, and if any of you have any questions please let me know and I would be happy to help you out any way I can

Blessed Be
Trey

Thanks Francisco! Its nice to meet you!
I do have one tarot deck, I chose the DruidCraft tarot deck as it spoke to me. How about you do you practice with Tarot?

Yes! I worked with an Oracle deck for a long time, my “Oracolo dello Sciamano”. It has less cards than a Tarot deck so it’s a lot easier to use:

As you can see, now I’m working on becoming more familiar with the Rider Waite Tarot deck.

I draw a card every day just as a meditative kind of thing. Having the card out somewhere I can see it, I let my subconscious mind absorb what it can from it.

I looked up the DruidCraft Tarot deck on Google, it looks really nice! Do you have any daily practice or method to familiarize yourself with the symbolism in your deck?

Francisco,
I have only been doing a 3 card draw and then journaling so I dont really have a method to memorize but I am most certainly open to suggestions if you have any ideas on how to memorize!!!
