Well spotted @Feathertip - I didn’t see that one when I went looking.

Welcome! Welcome! Your path sounds rich, creative, and deeply magical — an art-witch with decades of practice and a living Book of Shadows is truly something special. I can only imagine how meaningful it must feel to finally have open access to community and shared wisdom after those early years when witchcraft had to stay hidden. ![]()

, and I absolutely love how your craft weaves together art, intention, and ritual — tarot, sigils, spell work, candle magic, and altar craft are all such powerful, expressive tools. Your background as an art therapist feels beautifully aligned with the work you do now.
Please don’t worry about your English — it’s lovely, and you’re very welcome just as you are. Take your time exploring; this space is big, cozy, and full of kind souls. I hope you find many friends here (I suspect you will!).
Warmest welcomes to the circle, Katharina. ![]()
Blessed Be! ![]()

@katharina and @Greenbriar - wonderful!
Jayne can attest to the many talented witches here, so maybe a little bump in attention is just what that thread needs. ![]()
Hello sister and welcome from Texas! As you have already noticed everyone here is very friendly, helpful and so full of new and exciting ideas. You will love it here. I have learned so much. I would love to see your art.
Welcome to Spells8! I have some of the same interests as you. Your experiences are wonderful! We have Tarot, Lenormand, and Rune practice areas if you want to indulge and have fun with them.
I’m Dan and I study belief systems. Right now I’m studying Norse but also dabbling in Celtic and Greek. My path falls loosely under the Chaos umbrella.
Jump in and have fun!
Merry Meet!
Thank you for your warm welcome! I´m very happy to finally have found a circle of like-minded people!
Ah yes, chaos magick! I would say, that this is where I´m coming from, since I had no guidance whatsoever. I followed my intuition on everything, plus my audhd (which of course was undiagnosed when I was young) pushed me to either do everything at once or nothing at all. lol This is why I love using the daily devotional, because it helps me establish a routine that works for me.
Egyptian and greek mythology is absolutely fascinating and the archetypes in greek mythology are so clearly cut, that they are used in therapeutic work as well. Carl Gustav Jung, the swiss psychoanalyst, worked a lot with archetypes. But I´m rambling…lol
Thank you for your warm welcome, Dan!
Thank you so much!
I will happily share some of my art-witchery in the future!

Thank you for your warm welcome @Artemisia
How lovely!! I grew up in a very rural area in Austria and my parents had a rather large garden. One of my best summer memories is the scent the herbs would set free in the warm evenings. This was always something that captured my whole heart, mind and soul…how the flowers and herbs would make the air rich with their various scents. Heavenly! ![]()
Loo, I still use the book that came with it, since I havent memorized the cards fully. Though, I do get to see what my reading is. I also like that I can see a more starightforward meaning on the Spells8 website. I then get to talkijg to myself because I thin I’ve cracked the code, when I know that I have barely scratched the surface.
