Hi Linda, my name is Audrey, and I’m learning to speak Dutch. I live in New York and loved the language when I heard it 5 yrs ago on vacation to Amsterdam and Belgium. I truly believe I was Dutch in a previous life.
My tutor lives in Ghent, and I will be visiting Amsterdam and Belgium again in late April/May. Misschien kunnen we samen een kopje koffie drinken!
My Dutch is a work in progress! I speak with my tutor now 2x/wk, but I don’t know of any Dutch speakers in my community.

I am from a small village in Lancashire, England.

Hoi Hoi! Nederlands studeren voor mei is een reis! I’ll probably be in Ghent sometime during the first week in May. I’ll be looking for a place in Ghent or al least a “burt” where I can stay for a month sometime in 2027. Speaking Dutch/Flemish on a B2-C1 level is on my bucket list!
