I’m a new member. I’ve been Getting the newsletters, emails, doing the monthly what I call homework for awhile now. But decided this is the best group so decided to join. A little about me. I was a born again Christian at age 12. Always attended church, up until I moved to Europe from the US. I got in touch with my Celtic roots, met friends in Sweden, started questioning. This lead me to the old ways. I started learning and practicing. I recalled inituition and memories from when I was a child that enforced my new beliefs. I lived in Europe (Netherlands) for 13 years and traveled to over 40 countries. I learned alot. Now I’m back in the states for 7 years and continuing my journey. All is great with my life and choices and I am grateful and give thanks. My only challenge myself and 4 of my sister’s are dealing with is a born again Christian sister. A wolf in sheep’s clothing. Our Dad died last year. He had dementia and she changed the will to give her everything. We are protesting the will, but it’s hard and costly. Any support, chain that can protect us world be appeciated. Strength in numbers. Evil should not win. She is evil. Thanks, Lisa ---

Welcome @lisa5 Nice to meet you and thank you for introducing yourself, and sorry to hear about your family conflict and I too have Celtic origins. I’m Sharon from Melbourne, Australia, and my witch’s name is Moonstruck. I’m an Eclectic Witch and, although I haven’t been practicing for very long, I’ve always felt a strong connection to my ancestors and the natural world around me. So far, my practice includes creating an altar dedicated to my ancestors and performing various rituals. I’ve also started working on my Book of Shadows and journaling my experiences and learning journey. My interests include crystals, the sea, moon magic, tarot reading, animal spirits, sigil creation, and learning how to make poppets. I’m currently researching and crafting my own runes based on the Elder Futhark alphabet. There are so many wonderful resources and courses available through Spells8, hope you enjoy exploring them. Blessed Greetings @lisa5 and welcome to the Forum. Visiting over 40 Countries and experiencing different cultures must have been amazing. I would love to read some of the places that you visited which had a lasting legacy. Please accept my condolences on the passing of your Father. Being brought up in a strict religious family is hard especially when you start to form your own opinions this does bring conflict but you have discovered yourself and that must be celebrated. I am Moonbeam 🔯 🌕 a Hedge Witch from a small village in Lancashire, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. My craft is working with the Elements. I am drawn to the Moon in particular but also the Sun, Old Ways & Forklore Magic based on nature, Crystals, Anglo-Saxon & Witch Runes, Pendulum, Tasseography, plants growing herbs etc, Ocean Witchcraft which closely aligns with the Hedge and my Scottish Highland and Devon/Cornish Ancestors. Thank you for your kind words. It seems we have alot in Common. I am 2nd generation American. Mostly from Northern Ireland, but my family went back and forth between Ireland and Scotland. I’ve been to quite a few places in England, but not Lancastershire. I still have family in the London area and Northern Ireland. I resonate mostly with the moon, fire, water, sun and nature. I live now on a lake in South Carolina and have a small place near the beach in Florida. ---

@Moonbeam Yes that interests me, but also love having bonfires, even in the summer. The beach place can’t have a bonfire, so bought a propane one. That’s allowed. Lol. I love seeing all the stars in the sky at night. Breathe in the fresh air, being one with nature, and gardening. I also do tarot for many years and love doing the ones from this community. ---

@Moonbeam , this is wonderful. I have also felt different growing up. We really do have alot of similarities. I could see things before they happened. As a child and young adult It scared people. Ultimately scaring myself. Sometimes I was awake, sometimes asleep. I was afraid to dream. I wish I had resources back then. But I’ve learned to embrace it. Shadow work was too hard for me, so I just go forward and learn. I also love my fur baby. She rescued me. Pitbull mix and so good. Also a 🔥 sign. I’ll have to put together my “About Me”. I look forward to chatting more with you. ---
