What makes you happy is what you is best for you!
Blockquote
I like that your first pendulum is homemade and out of the river, thank you for sharing you are so creative and inspiring! This I definitely want to try at home and make one out of my sea shells I got!

@anon87969570, These are more precious, as they are made with love and intentions. I love the juniper wand and it has character. I am drying out a Rowan wand as this is my birth tree (depending who you read) so more personal and from my mother in laws garden.
That’s beautiful!! I have fibromyalgia and that’s what I’m talking about!!! You’re very crafty! I’m glad I came back to this post!
Thank you! I have the amethyst chips to add to it, I’m excited.
Funny story. My dog Zoey LOVES sticks, her favorite yard toys. So…she sees mama’s “stick” and whines at my altar! Goofy dog
My Ziggy likes to lay on the stool with me when I’m at my altar or he’ll lay down across my B.o.S when I have it layed out open beside me and on my cards whenever I am reading a spread. He can be sound asleep and dead to the world but the minute I head to my altar he’s right smack in the middle of my circle and will stay there the whole time. And he’s quiet the whole time too. I never have to open my circle for him because it’s like he instinctively knows not to break it. But perhaps that means Ziggy is my familiar cause I did not want anymore dogs when my neighbor brought him to me and said Marley was the dad and there was no Denying it cause he was a carbon copy so I took him without hesitation. And he is a momma’s boy
Homemadepentacleplate
Made this altar pentacle plate for $2, acrylic paint and the oven. Worked great and it can be washed.
@summerlight how’d you do it if you don’t mind sharing. I so could have used this in my ritual tonight
Wow, that’s a gorgeous quill @summerlight! Beautiful work!
Wow. Love the red quill. You are talented! I’d cut my fingers off trying to do that!
I followed the instructions here how to make a quill
The first two items I hand made was a besom and a pentacle similar to a dream catcher. I was divided to make a wand but fell in love with one online and couldn’t resist so I brought it and it came today! I will add a picture of it as well… oh and sorry for the paper and mess my kids think it’s fun to do crafts around me when I am trying to get some me time lol
Good job! I am doing the same thing actually… It’s an amazing way to get your imagination working again also.
Ooh, so pretty!!! Here’s my wand:
The top has clear quartz and aquamarine. Then, there’s feathers and black obsidian beads:
Then here’s the bottom I wrapped with hemp:
That is just beautiful! I hope it is a pleasure to write with too.
I like that and would like to try and make one. Is there a special way to wrap the twigs so they stay on? Do you use wire?
that’s how I made mine well kind of. I’m in awe of how she manipulated the hot glue. MIne was much more dribbly and well, It’s a paper straw (I know, not even wood) that is filled with hot glue, then painted. I used the hot glue to make designs on the straw and affix crystals. I can’t remember where I saw online how to make it this way but it was also for Harry Potter party favors. I wanted it to be small enough to go into my school box. It is dainty but I love it. But I like the idea of chop sticks. I will try that. It’s next to a cat and bell I painted for my kit.
I just used the natural twine thats also wrapped around the outside.
This is the guide I followed
I didn’t do so well with bending the thin birch branches I used, even though they were quite pliable after soaking, but I don’t think it matters that they mostly snapped off.
Still debating adding some extra decoration.
