How to make a gift (spell bag ) for my Niece for this month

Hello everyone, I am new here and was asking for some ideas that I could make a gift spell bag for my Neice (28) for her birthday this month actually it is on the 4th she would love this very much xx Warm Regards Sharon xx any ideas would be greatly appreciated xx

You could do the Good Fortune Jar, but put it in a bag instead!

Hello Amethyst, thanks for the great Good Fortune Jar, just wondering I don’t have lilac flowers could I use lavender instead? do I actually do the spell and maybe put her name in the jar so its for her any other ideas I am short of things to put in it at the moment xx Warm Regards Sharon xxx

I think a spell bag is a wonderful gift (and blessing!) to give someone on your birthday. Happy early b-day to your niece! :heart:

From the spell page, it looks like the purpose of the lilac in this spell is divine connection/spiritual protection:

  • Lilac flowers (bring blessings of divine spiritual aid.)

So you might consider wither substituting or adding a different herb of protection if you’d like to add those properties into the spell. For lavender, it has that same beautiful deep purple that lilac does, which is a color magickally associated with divinity and divine communication - so it could work for those properties! :purple_heart:

Sure! Lavender is good, or jasmine. Jasmine is good for spiritual awakening. Or rose is the universal flower. If you have to make a substitution and can’t decide, you can use rose!

Hello again I was putting the spell bag together and I don’t have mustard seed is there any other suggestions? my niece’s birthday was yesterday I won’t see her until Saturday so I have a few days to get it right xx Warm Regards Sharon :black_cat: :cat:

Just like a rose can replace any flower, rosemary can replace any herb. It’s an all-around kind of thing; you can use a white candle for any other color. I would also add vanilla or thyme. Vanilla is good for luck and prosperity, and is a mood enhancer, among other things, and thyme is good for strength, money, and health.

The Green Witch Course here on site can help you figure all these herbs out if you’re confused. Maybe that will help you out!
