> [@walter](#): > > What’s a good book on candle magick? I started with this one - [Amazon.com](https://www.amazon.com/Candle-Magic-Beginners-Simplest-Llewellyns/dp/0738705357) and of course this [site](https://spells8.com/?s=candle) is great for resources. I make my own candles now so I don’t buy them anymore. 🙂 I make intention candles and sell them. ![126308329_2577386335886301_3738407717236495350_n](https://spells8s3.b-cdn.net/original/2X/4/4e79be56e631196f7a4afa6d9e848c64710c780c.jpeg) ![126311996_160306085798307_6280529646679981169_n](https://spells8s3.b-cdn.net/original/2X/3/392d2d23b6e18e823b97e55cc185c4a029c538b7.jpeg) ![126316820_702647807349202_4507292362246129530_n](https://spells8s3.b-cdn.net/original/2X/f/f17f903e7a12a7c91de52fa7a0e4c80872f4e13b.jpeg) ![126456189_368176957583215_1736842509008806679_n](https://spells8s3.b-cdn.net/original/2X/a/a6cb2908cb05e699c3567ce482808c85c67bdd85.jpeg) **BUT I use to buy my candles off Etsy or Amazon.** ---

I used to buy my candles 🕯 on Amazon but I have a local metaphysical store that sells candles which fit my candle holders better. _(There are three metaphysical shops nearby but I only frequent two of them.)_ They last about 2.5 hours, unless I forget to turn off the ceiling fan. 😅 Here are some resources to learn more about candle magic. **Round the Cauldron Podcast** - [Episode 24: Candle Magick 101](https://www.roundthecauldron.com/2019/07/16/episode-24-candle-magick-101/) **Spells8** - [Candle Magic 101](https://spells8.com/lessons/candle-spells/) - [Candle Safety](https://forum.spells8.com/t/candle-safety/408) - [Dressing Your Candles](https://forum.spells8.com/t/dressing-your-candles/1510) - [Candles: Use Once Or Reuse?](https://forum.spells8.com/t/candles-use-once-or-reuse/5027) - [Candle Magic Spells and Rituals](https://spells8.com/magic/guided-meditations/candle-meditations/) ---
