My name is Brandi. I have been learning and practicing Wicca solitarily for about 15 years. I just recently joined Spells8 for more insight and to meet others. I enjoy being a solitary practitioner, but it can get lonely sometimes and I do get confused easily, especially when I am faced with a problem I can’t solve.
I am so excited to be here and thank you for accepting me.
Blessed Be!!
Hi from New Mexico, and welcome @brandi17!
I’m Georgia. I’ve been studying since 1990, but only discovered Infinite Roots a year and a half ago. It’s been a real eye opener because there is sooooo much here! I’m still on a collecting binge.
Feel free to ask anything. We have a varied group from all over the world. Someone will be happy to guide you in the right direction.
I’m looking forward to learning with and from you!
@georgia Thank you so much. I appreciate the welcome.
Hi, @brandi17! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia. Welcome to the forum!
It’s nice to meet you! I’m from the boondocks of WV, so when I went looking on Facebook for covens in my area I didn’t find much, and what I did find didn’t impress me. So I was very glad to find this community. It’s really made a big difference in my life, and I hope it does for you too!
If you have any questions about anything, just ask and someone will pop up to give you a hand. I look forward to getting to know you!
Hello @brandi17,
Welcome! I’m Bry, an Eclectic Witch and one of the moderators here in the forum. It’s very nice to meet you
There are many pros to being a solitary practitioner, but I empathize about the loneliness. For me personally, I’ve found an online coven community to be a happy middle ground. There’s always something fun going on and lots of chat about, but we all respect each other’s individual paths and practices. I think it’s the best of both worlds
Please make yourself at home here - and know that you’re welcome to ask questions! The Q&A category exists for that very purpose.
Blessed be!
Welcome @brandi17 ! It’s great to have you with us! I’m from Minnesota and have been practicing many different aspects of the craft for 35+ years. I currently work with voodoo and divination and I’m studying Enochian magick.

Merry meet @brandi17 and welcome!
My name is Kat, and I’ve been practicing the craft for over 30 years. My practice is rooted in a blend of nature magick, green magick, and elements of hedgecraft. My interests include herbalism, gardening, and divinatory practices like tarot, throwing bones, and Lenormand.
There is a wonderful search function that will help you dig for more information in the forums!
We’re glad to have you here. Make yourself comfortable, explore, and feel free to ask questions!

Welcome Brandy!
I’m Dan and I study Belief Systems - placing myself loosely under the Chaos umbrella.
Jump in and enjoy Spell8. There are lots of friendly people here and interacting and finding answers is easy and fun.
Like Georgia, I find it impossible not to collect things.. Some are physical (cards), some are are ideas. I have reams and megabytes of stuff…
Thank you all, for the warm welcome and introductions. And also thank you for all the advice.
As for the aspects of the craft that I tend to lean towards, they are as follows: Pretty much everything. I do prefer divination in all its forms, especially pendulums and am currently learning shadow work, and dream work. I love working with nature and I am a chef so of course I lean towards anything to do with cooking and baking and adding my own touches to that.
I am very in tune with those that have passed: my son who passed at 17 days old follows me everywhere especially anytime I need to move, and my father, I have actually seen him a few times so I believe he stays with me as well and I know he is near when I smell his cologne.
So, again thank you and Blessed Be!!
