**Who is Goddess Nyx?**

Nyx is the primordial Greek goddess of the night, a powerful and ancient deity who was born from Chaos itself. She is the mother of many divine beings, including Hypnos (Sleep) and Thanatos (Death), and is often depicted as a shadowy, winged figure draped in darkness. Nyx embodies mystery, intuition, and the unseen forces of the cosmos. She is a goddess of deep wisdom, dreams, and protection, making her a potent ally for witches seeking guidance, transformation, or banishment of negativity.

**Spell to Invoke Nyx: The Veil of Night’s Embrace**

**Purpose:** Call upon Nyx for protection, wisdom, and deepened intuition.

**Materials:**

- A black or deep blue candle
- Mugwort or lavender incense
- A bowl of water (to represent the night sky)
- A silver or obsidian stone
- A quiet, dark space

**Ritual:**

Prepare Your Space: Light the candle and incense, placing the bowl of water before you. Hold the silver or obsidian stone in your hand.

Invocation of Nyx: Close your eyes, take deep breaths, and recite:

_"Nyx, shadowed queen of the endless night, Cloak me now in your veil of twilight._
_Keeper of stars, of dreams and sight, Guide me through wisdom, grant me your might._
_Dark Mother, I call, with love and grace, Wrap me in mystery, time and space."_

**Meditation & Offering:** Gaze into the bowl of water as if peering into the night sky. Envision Nyx surrounding you with her dark wings, whispering guidance. Speak your intentions softly or in your mind.

**Closing:** Thank Nyx for her presence, extinguish the candle, and place the silver/obsidian stone under your pillow for enhanced dreams and intuition.

**Final Words:** Use this spell when you seek protection, deeper spiritual insight, or wish to walk more closely with the mysteries of the night. Nyx’s energy is gentle yet immense—respect her presence, and she will guide you through the unseen realms. 🌙✨
