It's me again, long time no see! Looking for some Witchy Wisdom <3

Some of you may remember a few years ago when I posted about having to let my cat Kronik go to the other side.

When I knew I would have to say goodbye to my cat, the night before that day I created a ritual that entailed making a charm I guess you could say. The end result came out to be a little fold it yourself box filled with various herbs and objects that corresponded to Kronik’s energy and the memories I have of him. I sealed it with a ribbon tied around the box and into a bow, topped off with a small candle melting onto the top of it.
That box is on a shelf I have dedicated to him, Tigger, Mocha and Kosher.’

Well this is that box. I’ve overcome my grief and am ready to let this box go, but not in the cord cutting kind of way. Any suggestions would be wonderful

P.S. I hope you all have been well! Once I worked up to becoming a full time Replenishment Manager for Michaels, I’ve been consistently busy, in a good way though, I love my job!

That’s a beautiful little box for a beautiful little kitty :cat:
If you want to physically let it go, you could let a river carry it away, maybe along with some heartfelt words. Or some other element, if it feels more appropriate.

Welcome back, I’m happy that you’re doing well :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

@janelle Hello, nice to meet you. I’m Tracy from England. I think what @CelestiaMoon suggests sounds like a lovely ritual, maybe set your pretty box on a wreath of flowers. Take care my lovely :sparkling_heart:

@janelle!!! It’s wonderful to hear from you again!

Celestia and Tracy both have wonderful ideas. Being near the ocean, I see farewell messages or mementos every now and then- the sea will accept your memories graciously if you feel that the time is right. Otherwise a burial in the earth can always help to lay things to rest.

Congrats on your work, it sounds like things are going really well :hugs:

Blessed be!

I’m with everyone else here that letting it go back to nature would be a great idea  As long as there’s no material there that would harm the earth, then the Earth will usually receive your gifts!

I’m glad to hear that you’re doing well and that you like your job!
