Magick Gardens 2025

That is so cool!!!

Our veggie gardens are winding down. In the middle of the picture is our hops. They’re like a wall of green in the summer. I want to build the trellis higher and make a moon door up high. Its 12’ tall now and my wife wont let me get on the ladder any higher, but it would look really cool on a full moon. We will be harvesting apples for cider and clearing some of the beds to plant winter food (like carrots, radishes, beets and garlic). We are lucky to be semi-self sufficient in these uncertain times.

I am so glad man and bee came out of their collision okay lol! That bee has a lot of work to do!

Looks like a banner year for apples! I hear you about uncertain times. I have been adding perennial food crops over the last year or so.

If you manage to get that moon door built, that will be epic.

That’s so wonderful! I wonder what happened to get the tree to decide to finally bear fruit. Keep those pollinators busy! Thanks for posting these pictures.

@leo - your garden is glorious! You’re so fortunate to be able to spread out like this. It looks amazing!

Have fun with the cider! :face_savoring_food: I agree that your moon door would look fabulous if you ever get it put up.

Happy harvesting, planting, and moon door-crafting (as much as your wife allows!). Sounds like lot of fun happenings in your garden :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :basket: :crescent_moon: :sparkles:

i love lilies! but that seems a little obvious, haha. forget-me-nots are also a favorite of mine.

i have two little bamboo stalks. i’ve had them since rrrroughly mid-2023? but i love them with all my heart. no pictures, i’m afraid. i named one sol (he has a yellow-y tint to him, with a lot of leaves) & the other luna (she’s the more typical green, with not as any leaves). i named them that to honor my heritage as a latina with heavy roots in mexico.
