Hello everyone pink sunflower here :sunflower:!

Story: I’m making my wand for the first time and very excited. I found a branch already cut down with pine leaves and cones still on it. And just now, I found a lesson on how to make and consecrate the wand.

Question: should I keep the branch and still give a thank you prayer or should I cut my own that is still attached to the tree and give thanks?

@Pink_Sunflower hello. I think using the branch you found would work great. It would honor the tree more than taking one. Just my opinion, hope it helps

The one that is also already on the floor will generally be drier and better to use. A fresh cut will need to be left to dry out/cure before really using it.

Either way is fine. Perhaps you were led to that branch and its gifts. Good luck.

I would personally use any branch already fallen from the tree and leave an offering of some kind or just say thanks.
