Thank you very much. I almost pulled from my Celtic Tarot, maybe tomorrow. We’ll see what the day brings. The Crystal cards are really nice & great quality. It’s a large amount of cards to shuffle though. Lol 😂 ---

Good Morning/Afternoon, the sun is shining 🌞 it’s 40 degrees F. Wednesday, 9, 2022 ![001](https://spells8s3.b-cdn.net/original/3X/1/f/1f09a04a1592e8ad4549dd57b31120cfe62b263f.jpeg) image source from The Modern Witch Tarot Deck by Lisa Sterle At points in our lives, we can feel like there’s something pulling us to change. Judgement calls down to us in the form of a benevolent angel, and presents us with the crossroads on her banner. As humans, we aren’t alone in the world, but surrounded by others struggling – each in their own way. Through compassion, love and a desire to be better people, we reach up towards this lofty goal of self-actualization to enrich the world and others around us. **Only through responding to the call can we become truly alive.** It’s not about judging others, but judging yourself. There are times to be kind to yourself, and then there are times for some tough love. Now is one of those times. There’s an important change needed for you to reach new heights, but you’re prepared. Your past self is behind you and the future calls. Examine yourself and your choice honestly. Is this the best you? ---

You are being called to step into your true power and essence. This is one of those times when you’re required to bring everything you are - all that you’ve learned, experienced, and integrated - and offer it up in service to the world. When you take center stage, you _will_ be noticed. Yes, as you shine brightly, you will naturally stand apart from others. This idea may bring up excitement and genuine pride or discomfort, but this is not the time to make yourself small to avoid the glare of the spotlight and potential punishment by others. It takes courage, but know that this is the right thing for you today. You have come so far. You have been in the proverbial back of the room, in learning and gathering mode for so long, and this important time has served its purpose. You must now step into a new consciousness, seizing a new opportunity to share your wisdom. You will be like a lighthouse, shining through the dark, illuminating the way for others. Be careful of the voices in your head that say _You can’t_ or _You don’t know enough_ or _Who are you to shine?_ The better question is: Who are you _not_ to shine? All you are and all you have become is by the grace of the Divine. Now it is your duty to share your gifts. Celebrate this! ---

## Wednesday, March 9, 2022 ### Celtic Tree Oracle Draw - (By: Sharlyn Hidalgo) I shuffled the Celtic Tree Oracle deck **3** times & took the next 3 cards off the top & drew: **12. Gort Ivy Reversed** > The Gort Ivy initiates in the eleventh lunation. Ivy often grows in spirals & always towards the light. It offers us a pattern to model for individuation & soul growth. It can grow almost anywhere, even pushing through concrete & walls. It never gives up. It is thought that there were once thirteen astrological signs – that Virgo ♍ may originally have been divided into two signs, one of which was named for Arachne, an aspect of the Great Mother as spinner & creator of the physical world. Ivy promises growth, resurrection, & renewal, & Wolf is our guide & protector as we move into our shadow to gain insight. Ivy promises triumph. The ogham for this plant is Gort & the letter G. > **12. Gort Ivy Reversed** You are avoiding inner work that will lead you to a higher level of consciousness & development. Perhaps you are over-reliant upon others for your identity & self-worth. Ivy reversed might also indicate a lack of soul growth. If you find you have little self-knowledge – that is limited insight into your own motivations, your shadow side, or even your self. Consider hiring a therapist or seeking a teacher to help you understand your true essence & your inner world. > Because Ivy can grow anywhere, it sometimes breaks things apart. Therefore, if you’ve drawn Gort Ivy reversed, consider your intentions. Look for selfish methods or unconsciousness in your dealings with others, & check your ego needs at the door. Ivy can stick to things, so make sure you are not overly invested in others or overly enmeshed. It is time to grow towards the light. ## Rune Draw - Perthro :pertho: ![Agate Perthro](https://spells8s3.b-cdn.net/original/3X/d/2/d2f8928e8282f6919fddd1358c0737efdbf65337.jpeg) ![Perthro BrightStave1](https://spells8s3.b-cdn.net/original/3X/2/4/24127ca2e32bd2cb21371cfff8883f0d81d5cdc8.jpeg) ![Perthro BrightStave2](https://spells8s3.b-cdn.net/original/3X/6/d/6ddfa4d76295110690c8ee66c82292b518348190.jpeg) ![Perthro Keywords](https://spells8s3.b-cdn.net/original/3X/7/c/7ccf28b663b98af70295e2930bbf3ce58470a89a.jpeg) - Thorsson, Edred. _Big Book of Runes and Rune Magic: A Complete Guide to Interpreting Runes, Rune Lore, and the Art of Runecasting_ . Meditating or slipping into a shamanic trance, inscribe this rune on you to facilitate your journey as well as to protect you while you are on it. **Overall Meanings/Keyword(s):** Tree of Life, Magic, initiation, Death, Guardian, Responsibility, Hidden Cosmic Knowledge. Through purposeful sacrifice, a united will can be achieved. As above, so below. As within, so without. This commitment brings knowledge & guidance for the highest good of all if you are ready & willing to work it out. Alignment & enlightenment are what I seek. Guide me in my quest for balanced ascendence & grounding as roots dug deep, eyes to the skies, I travel between worlds. The principle of the vertical axis that penetrates the world above & the world below & connects the human realm to the heavenly & chlonic regions. Synthesis of above & below, light & dark, life & death. The yew is a flexible force but also hard, it endures beyond all other things. **Brightstave/Upright:** The yew promotes spiritual enlightenment along the vertical axis of consciousness. Mental toughness & flexibility is needed. The inner flame must be ignited through discipline. Seek independence from the natural/mechanical order of the cosmos. Controlled changes in consciousness are indicated. (Initiation) Realization of inner strength will protect you from outside dangers. Bring together the light & the dark. **Merkstave/Reversed:** Coming too early in the life of a person can cause deep confusion & consternation. The hot fires unconsciously ignited may cause “burn out” leading to death & decay. A stoppage of the yew principle in those who are prepared for it causes a profound sense of dissatisfaction. Boredom, & meaninglessness. It also can soften your will & sense of self-discipline. **Source(s)** - Chamberlain, Lisa. _Runes for Beginners: A Guide to Reading Runes in Divination, Rune Magic, and the Meaning of the Elder Futhark Runes_ . It is the Hierophant that calls us to unlock our psyche and hidden potential through diligent study. She is wise in her guidance, helping us discover new things we could not have found alone. As students and disciples, we kneel at her feet, listening to her stories and lessons, and if we do so, we may be able to find the lock that fits the keys crossed at her feet. Look to the past, read books, find a community of both differing worldviews and familiar ones. Find the passion within you and the hunger to know more. Nothing is created in a void, and you can enrich yourself by finding communities or collectives that help to structure your study. Learning new things can open your mind to new pathways and possibilities. ---

## _ **Saturday, March 12, 2022** _ ### Rune Draw Gebo :gebo: **Overall Meanings/Keyword(s):** Gift, honor, balance, generosity, relationships, exchange, magical exchange, divine interaction. Principle of the three-fold gift of Odin: Consciousness, divine gift, & form. It is also the principle of giving & taking; an exchange between any 2 beings or realms. It is the sacrificed gift made by people to gods to compensate or petition for divine favors. In human society, this is reflected as hospitality. Live by the laws & in accordance with nature, rather than living separate & disconnected from the earth. This is how the tribes of the day survived but thrived. Gebo :gebo: also calls to the relationship between people & their connection to the gods. When a person dedicated themselves to a certain god or goddess, offerings, time, & energy were presented to the deity. In turn, people hoped their chosen deities would bestow their blessings & strengths upon them. The synthesis of giving & receiving with goodwill, hospitality, & respect is akin to unifying one’s self with the divine. Wen gifts & contracts are mutually exchanged & honorably upheld, energetic reciprocity will always be positive. Here, integrity, love, & common bonds pave the way for the benefit, abundance, & protection of family & community. **Brightstave/Upright:** Provide for hospitality & generosity with guests. Be prepared to accept it as a material or spiritual gift that may be in the offing. You may expect great credit. Honor, dignity – or you might be called upon to bestow these on another if you are in a position of power. You may have a magical exchange with a member of the opposite sex. A powerful & synchronistic experience could be in the offing. **Merkstave/Reversed:** Take care not to give away all you have. Spend wisely. Do not become overly dependent upon gifts from others for, “Aye does a gift always look for gain.” An attempt to buy influence with gifts is possible, beware of financial enslavement. Things might get worse before they get better. Blockage of the Gebo will cause greed & weakness or poverty & loneliness. Strength can tame a lion face down her hears and unwanted feelings, bringing them under control through grace and acceptance. Only by reconciling with those scary aspects of ourselves can Strength grow and discover true inner calm. Flowers create a link between Strength and the lion, and this connection can’t be severed. These inner passions, these emotions that feel like they’re spiraling out of control and consuming us, need to be accepted peacefully or they’ll end up controlling us. It will take courage to approach these possibly frightening aspects of yourself. It will also take compassion and tenderness, as only then can you find the inner strength and power to make yourself whole. You have to accept your fears, your anxieties, and your feelings because they are a part of you. You can’t cut them off. You may find yourself dealing with a difficult problem, but it can be dealt with through grace, maturity, and strength. ---
