Ahoy! :pirate_flag: Arrrr ya ready for Talk Like a Pirate Day?

(Gotta start practicing now! :face_with_hand_over_mouth:)

With the wonderful @Susurrus joining the amazing @Amethyst, there are now two very special people who have won the MMM shout-out badge 5 times each- you two are amazing!:star_struck:

For those that have given so much- between spreading the love through hearts and sharing wisdom- over such a long length of time, I think you’ve earned your spot in the Forum Hall of Fame. Please be aware that anyone in the “Hall of Fame” has achieved the highest level of MMM badges and will no longer be counted in the weekly tally (to give other folks a chance too!)

Thanks again for all that you do! Love, Light, and Congrats to you!:confetti_ball:

I had no idea this was a thing! Although I didn’t realize we had a Hall of Fame & being there with @Amethyst is awesome! I hope others get to join us in the near future!

Congratulations @christina4 for this week’s posts! You’ll be in the Hall of Fame in no time.

When my boys were little, sometimes when my daughter was, we would watch a show on Disney that got into talk like a pirate day & there was a song & dance that were a part of it. We knew the song & would “talk like a pirate” to each other. We haven’t done that in years! I should make it a thing.

Congratulations to @christina4 and @Susurrus for being this week’s sweethearts! And congrats to Soifra for making the Hall of Fame, I’m blushing just being there with you!

Thank you @BryWisteria, for placing me there. You and @Francisco deserve to be there yourself!

I’m always bad at Talk Like a Pirate Day. I get to Arr, ye mateys and my pirate just runs out of rum or something and wanders off. LOL.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

Hahaha :joy: I love it!! Sounds like me too!

I’m looking at some dragon jars and bottles on Etsy to buy. If they arrive in time, I could use one for this month’s Full Moon spell!

If anyone has done this spell before, could I use flour since it’s just powered grains?

Whoa. Those are pretty bottles!

And I’d use a whole grain, otherwise you might get pennies from your spell instead of dollars. Just my thought.

I saw on the spell page that you could use corn kernels… which I have! Perfect for the Corn Moon! :corn:

What time is the zoom call on thursdays? I’m central time!

Perfect! I’ll probably use rice, since that’s what I have on hand.

12 PM EST on Thursday. I’m hoping to be done with my things before then to see everyone. Hope you can make it!

Thank you! I’d LOVE to join. I’ve never been able to before. Buuuut I will have my 2 year old sun runnin’ around, so we’ll see. :joy:

The Forum Hall of Thing is a thing as of yesterday :joy: I whipped it up especially for the two of you (and those to come in the future)!:heart: Congrats, and thanks again for all that you do!

It is very much deserved, Amethyst- thanks again for all that you give to the forum! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: And hahaha you are very sweet- I think of the staff team as more of the guardians of the Hall of Fame. It’s our job to watch over those within! :+1:

Your pirate talk is already better than mine- I need to take notes! :writing_hand:

Goodness those jars are stunning, Kasandra! :dragon:  They would make some truly amazing-looking spell jars.

As for the spellwork, flour is ground wheat :ear_of_rice: so it technically meets the requirements, but I agree with what Amethyst mentioned that it may affect the outcome.

If you do go ahead with using flour, I’d recommend clearly setting your intention that the flour you are using is simply the next step up from grain- it is processed, rich, and ready to be crafted. Visualize it as a valuable commodity rather than “less than” grain and you should be okay :ok_hand:
Either that or you could use dried bread :bread: (I wouldn’t recommend fresh bread, as the jar will be sitting for a month).

Looks like you found corn- that works perfectly! :corn: Wishing you good luck and blessed spellwork! :full_moon_with_face:

I can’t make the Zoom meet, but I think it’s safe to say the more the merrier! Hope you can attend, and if so, enjoy! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

@BryWisteria & other moderators thank you so much! I love it.

My badge collection is growing by leaps & bounds now!

You have quite the impressive collection of badges, @Susurrus- great job! :trophy: :sparkling_heart:

Those are gorgeous!!! If you do end up making one, please share, I wanna see how it turns out.

Unfortunately, the jars won’t be here until after the Full Moon and Mabon! I could pay for expressed shipping, but it’s $40 extra! No way!

Goodness! It’s always a tragedy when the shipping turns out to be as much or even more than the item itself  :package:

But even if they don’t make it for the full moon/Mabon, the next Sabbat Samhain/Halloween and another full moon are just a few short weeks away and I think those dragon jars would be perfect for the occasion :star_struck:  :jack_o_lantern:
