You’d think this would be my first stop on Mondays  But no, I come across it via notifications or my “New” notifications… at any rate… I’m a little slow on the uptake before coffee…

A hearty congratulations to @Amaris_Bane for the most posts :tada: Great work, you are well loved & revered within the coven for all that you do :sparkles:

A warm congratulations to @john.knox for the most hearts  AND a 3 week streak with a shiny new badge! Woo hoo! Great work John! :star2:

I have a busy day tomorrow, 2 appointments… 1 at the lab, 1 for my migraines… good times… both in the morning so I will be in & out until after the 2nd appointment. If I wake up early enough I will pop in though. Depends on who else wakes up & where they have to be

My weekend was pretty okay, got some things resolved & then just processing the days. I got to hang out with all 3 kids though! That is very rare now that the boys are technically adults, but always my babies  They hate that. Too bad for them! Hee Hee Hee…

I never did get to the group ritual but I did get to spend time with my Alphie & Moo has a new spot on my altar next to my bed. I do have a Cricut project to get done & I get to see my friend that is “afraid” to use hers… so easy once you figure out the gist… but it’s new to her, so we are goingg to have tea & I’m going to help her out with some easier things to do like ornaments & stickers for things… if she gets too addicted… she can decorate her coffee table… that’s what I did  I have to sand it down & redo it then put a proper glaze/laminate over the vinyls. Live & learn but it lasted a while before they really started coming up.

I look forward to participating in the sabbat and our rituals this week as I prepare for the halfway point in my chemo treatment on Wednesday. Here’s to a better recovery and tolerance this time - HERE HERE!!!

As I watch Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral procession on TV this morning, I have been contemplating thriving and a life well lived, even amongst things we wish we could change and things that could be better or different and I keep coming back to the same phrase over and over again as I continue down my life’s purpose and journey - I GET TO. I get to wake up. I get to love. I get to feel the pain of life. I get to have treatment and not just suffer until I die of this illness. I get to see my 5 children continue to thrive and love them. I get to love my family. I get to celebrate this season with my coven, loved ones and pets.

First of all, congratulations to @Amaris_Bane and @john.knox for their contributions to the community! You’re awesome!

I’m not sure what I’m doing for Mabon yet, I’m hoping this week’s tea ritual with be a good one and I’ll do that. I bought both apple spiced chai tea and pumpkin spiced chai so I’ll be using one of those! The pumpkin tastes good, but not as good as the apple in case y’all are wondering. LOL! Pumpkin tea is a bit odd but it was good.

Other than that, I’m not doing much this week since I tested positive for Covid. Blah. I think what little sinus thing it gave me is almost over because I feel better today.

Hopefully, I’ll get over it and things will get back to normal by next week. I’m not sure my apartment can handle me not having my home helper much longer than that!

@Siofra_Strega sounds like you had a great but busy weekend. Good luck this week with the appointments, I hope they go well for you.

@jan_TheGreenWitch I hope your chemo treatment goes well and you’re able to do all the rituals you want to do for the holiday! You’re beating this cancer, I just know it!

Hope everyone has a good week and a Merry Mabon! Or Ostara, if that’s the side of the world you’re on!

Thank you! It’s really just a blood draw & Botox injections for my Chronic Migraines, in the office in less than 10 minutes… it takes longer to get to the office  I hope that you have a great week & continued healing :two_hearts:

@jan_TheGreenWitch you are doing great & I hope you continue to be able to get to the rituals & things that you would like to, but make sure that you are resting when you need to do so. :people_hugging: Also thank you for your insights & inquiries about shielding on the Aura Scanning Thread… it’s a new thing for me to add to my toolbox because I was used to it just happening & kind of hiding from it before acknowledging it or just removing myself from the situation. Coping mechanisms built up over time that just progressed to those points. Re-learning some things & unblurring lines to learn what is actually normal for the ages of my children :hugs:

Thanks, everyone! I enjoy sharing my knowledge as I have a teacher’s heart. My mom was telling me a story about how I would make my sister sit in “class” with our stuffed animals and teach her whatever I had in mind that day. She said it was surprisingly accurate information for me being only 4 or 5.

I am excited about this week. My hubby starts training to work with me today; his birthday is Friday. I am preparing for the Sabbat with my celebrations planned for Thursday. I have two clients currently giving me 40+ hours this week so that income will be high. One bad thing is I have to take my cat to the vet as I think he has another bladder stone. Thankfully it is pretty easy to treat.

I hope everyone has a great week and a blessed Mabon/Ostara!!

Congratulations to @Amaris_Bane and @john.knox for your contributions to the forum

Congratulations you two! :tada:  You both deserve it!

I didn’t either  It’s been pretty busy at my house today. I took the kids to the history center for a little field trip. There was a lot of cool exhibits there (mostly the one about pirates) but also some boring ones (I’m not much for war memorial stuff…)

Hooray! I was thinking about you a few days ago and I’m glad to see you here and posting :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I love the “I get to!” phrase. I often have to reframe my thoughts in the same way :people_hugging: It’s helpful most days!

Props to you for tryin git lol I don’t htink I could!

Oh no! I’m glad you just have mild symptoms though. Hopefully it stays that way and you feel better quickly!

Fingers crossed it’s something simple! :crossed_fingers:

I’m just trying to play catch-up here and with work stuff so it looks like it might be a late night for me.

Tell your hubby happy birthday for us!

Oh noes, I hope it’s okay! I’ll be thinking of you!

I probably will finish the box, eventually. But I don’t think I’d buy it again.

Thanks, love! I feel better than I have all last week so I think I’m on the mend. Now I just need to test negative.

First I hope everyone has a blessed Sabbat! I’m beyond ready for FALL - I’m OBSESSED with everything about it. I haven’t decided on celebrations yet, but I will be figuring it out within the next day or two to plan! Second, I love the New Moon and using spell work during this time. I’m not sure what this week has in store, I’m planning for things but also doing some things day by day! We will see how the week goes! LOL

Hope you all have a wonderful week! Blessed Be Everyone!

Update to MMM:

This week’s group ritual is now up! For more details, please click on the picture or link below to view the full post:

Group Tea Ritual - Weekly Image

(Group Ritual - Sep 22) :balance_scale: Equinox Equality & Balance Spell

This week’s meditation ritual channels the balanced and harmonious nature of the solstice, when the sun and moon meet on equal terms. Use it to bring opposing forces in your own life into harmony and achieve peaceful balance :people_hugging:

Looking forward to sharing a quiet cup and peaceful moment with you then!

Blessed be, Infinite Roots!

My apartment is full of autumn decorations and after Mabon, I plan to spend Friday decorating for Samhain/Halloween!
I bought myself an amber bracelet because the book Mystical Dragon Magick lists amber as a required stone for many of the spells. The bracelet is beautiful; the beads of amber are different shades and it fits my wrist perfectly! Not only that, I have a good feeling whenever I wear it.

As someone who has been obsessing over amber for a while now, I am thrilled to hear that you are enjoying it too! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: It really is a lovely stone, and you are so right that the pretty goldeny orange colors resonate well with autumn :maple_leaf: :sparkles:

May your amber bracelet serve you well and continue to bring you positive energy! :orange_heart:

Hope you enjoy your new bracelet and it serves your purposes well

@Amaris_Bane and @john.knox - congratulations on the shout out.

I have to start posting while I am on the computer so it is easier to respond to everyone.
@jan_TheGreenWitch , I hope your chemo went well today. Much healing to you! I get to- that is powerful and an amazing attitude! Thank you.
@Amethyst i hope you get better quickly!
@Amaris_Bane - I hope your cat is ok
@Siofra_Strega i am glad you got to spend time with your boys this weekend. I try to soak up the attention my boys give me as it won’t be as much as they get older.
@MeganB lol I found museums always have some cool bits and boring bits. Hope you are getting caught up on work.

Well, the tournament went well on Saturday. We lost the first game which was good as it put us in a better position. We won the 2nd game in o/t! It was so exciting!! I had a good hit at the end that got us the tie to bring us into o/t and I got a good out on first in o/t!! Wahoo!! I was trying to charge my bat for good hits and and I was standing on first base I realized I could send intentions to others. I stared at the guy at bat and pictured him hitting a home run and he did!

Then during the bottom of the inning I had actually thought about the guy not hitting. I caught myself and realized I was starting to hex him. So I cancelled that and surrounded h with light and je hit it out of the park too.

We lost in the semifinals last night. That’s ok.
Work is super busy and I am scrambling each day this week to stay on top of things. I am hoping I will get caught up this weekend.

I pulled an oracle card today about letting go of old emotional blockages and to focus on the new and today was the day I got my tattoo!!!

Hope everyone has a great week.

It’s so pretty!!! Look at all those fun colors!!! :sparkles: Are those letters or symbols I see in the swirls of the tail, or is that just my overactive imagination? Either way, it’s really gorgeous and you wear the tattoo well! :fire:

Sorry about the semifinals, but congrats on making it there with your big win in the second game! It sounds like you had a blast

Thank you! There are two J’s in the tail for my boys. Their names start with J. Great catch!!

Your tattoo is absolutely wonderful - A phoenix, ? I’m guessing? Rising from ash to live a renewed life - and the tribute to your sons! I find the letter ‘J’ in cursive can be hidden easily as it is sometimes not recognizable from the ‘s’ or other letters, and this depiction is lovely.

Thank you for well wishes, they mean tons to me truly. :green_heart:

Have a blessed Mabon, Maudot! :fallen_leaf::ear_of_rice::moon_cake:

Thank you, yes, a phoenix

I hope this treatment was better for you with no reaction! I definitely wish the best for you. Kick that c’s butt!!!

A blessed Manon to you too
