Well… I received the results from my sleep study, and they are definitely not what I was hoping for. I’ve been diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea AND sleep-related hypoxia. Another blow to my life and my mental health. Positive vibes and prayers are needed. I’m trying to keep it together.

On a happy note, I posted the Oracle Reading Room for February in the Forum for those interested in continuing the journey with me. I hope everyone has a magickal Thursday and a beautiful upcoming weekend!

IĀ“m so sorry that the diagnosis brings you down! :broken_heart: Take some time to process this; the shock of a diagnosis is a real thing. To quickly and effectively relieve your nervous system, I wholeheartedly recommend double breathing. (This is a breathing technique involving two short inhalations (through the nose/mouth) followed by one long exhalation, often used for rapid stress reduction (a physiological sigh). It can also occur as an involuntary breathing pattern during anxiety or exertion: two impulses during inhalation (abdomen, then chest) – exhalation by letting go.

Effects: Helps reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and optimize oxygen supply.

And always keep in mind that a diagnosis is not a verdict, it does not mean that things will stay that way or won“t improve, okay?
I“m lighting a blue healing candle for you, love, sending all the good vibes you can possibly handle! :candle: :dizzy: :blue_heart:

I just wanted to send you a big, soft hug wrapped in good energy. I know getting a diagnosis like sleep apnea and hypoxia can feel a bit scary and overwhelming, but please know this you’ve caught it, you’re being supported, and your body finally gets the care it’s been asking for.

You’re powerful and intuitive, this is just another chapter in learning how to rest deeper and protect your magic. Be kind to yourself, honour your need for rest.

I’m holding you in my thoughts, lighting a candle for deep, safe sleep and steady breath. You’re not alone in this — ever. :purple_heart:

Blessed be @Eira_of_the_Living_Hearth :raising_hands:

Ps. Looking forward to February Oracle readings x

I’m so sorry, sis! I know you’re disappointed. :hugs:

But - maybe you can take this news and twist it around so it becomes empowering. After all, knowledge is power. You didn’t know what was going on before… only that something was off.

And - now you know. With a solid diagnosis, a real treatment plan can be created. And this puts YOU back in charge.

I’m betting on you, that you’ll kick this thing’s a$$ and be stronger for it.

In the meantime…be gentle with yourself, and remember how special you are. Don’t forget your self-care. Hugs, sister! :dizzy:  :sparkles:

Thank you, beautiful Katharina. It’s been a rough three years now with my health. I practice breathing exercises all the time. I’ve spent my entire life living with constant anxiety. Thank you for another technique to add to my repertoire. I’ll be okay. I’m made from strong stuff.

This week has been crazy. I made it back a forth to work through the ice, so that was good.

I only had to work one night with the crazy lady and that was also good, but we had training after work on Thursday so I told everyone I would be late because I was working with the crazy lady and I knew she wouldn’t releive me (which she didn’t). Then crazy lady shows her craziness at the end of training in front of 30 plus people. That was a sight to see and hear! So the CEO shut her down real quick (because crazy lady was trying to put on a show in front of everyone) and told everyone to leave. People were running to the door to get out of there. Out of all those people, 6 of us stayed. This woman completely lost control of her senses, so hopefully they will keep crazy lady away from our shift. By the time I got home I had a full fledged migraine. First one in years.

Another wonderful thing that happened this week, is somehow I hurt my foot on Sunday. At first I thought maybe it was arthritis flaring up because it has been so cold. Then I thought maybe it was the boots I was wearing. Now it’s swollen and hurts without putting pressure on it, so I think my foot is broken. When hubby gets home from work off to urgent care we go!

My gods! That sounds like something that should be in Not Always Right or something! Sheesh. I’m glad the CEO stepped in. Sorry about your migraine, though.

I hope it wasn’t broken, just sprained and bruised. Sending you healing energy and vital Epsom salts!

I take it you are not in a cast, then?

I’m glad you’re better! Even if I worry you broke your foot and are walking on it. Feel better soon!
