That’s wonderful - your instincts were spot on! You likely saved him from a life-threatening situation.
Applause for you and your quick reactions!

Oh my! Thank you so much!
Glad you’re on the other side of this! Take care!
Welcome home. Heal well. Feel better soon!
Thanks to all of you for the good wishes! My hand is still mostly numb so I’m not gonna name you all, sorry. Typing is still very weird. LOL! But the surgery went very quickly and I was out much earlier than expected! Which was nice! Hopefully, when they do the next hand it will go just as well.
But again, thank you all! Love you guys! Or girls. Or whatever. LOL!
I’m glad you’re home and doing well!
Glad to hear that the surgery went so well. Always nice to know that your issue was able to be dealt with quickly when in experienced hands. (No pun intended.)
Or peeps! We’ll all respond to peeps. I think. LOL
Get well soon!
Thanks, love! My middle finger is still numb, but as long as I don’t drive, that shouldn’t be a problem! LOL!
I usually use y’all, but that didn’t fit there. LOL! If only most Southerners realized that we were going gender neutral before everyone else did.
I lived in Georgia for years, and I appreciate a good “y’all!” It sounds so much nicer than where I grew up in Michigan where we always said “you guys!”
Lol
You guys isn’t as bad in the Middle American dialect. It’s when you get to areas like New Jersey, that makes a good youse guys seem weird. LOL!
I understand this too well!
Could have went with the plural of y’all (all y’all )
In the South where I used to live:
Y’all
All y’all
How’s your mama and them?
Yup. Familiar with all em. Lol
Yeah, that might have worked! LOL!
Hee! Good one! And very true!
Hi @Amethyst
Glad you are feeling better your a strong one! i’m sending you healing light right now!
Jeannie
Thank you, dear heart! I appreciate it!
I may have grown up in Indiana, but I was more suthern than I thought. We went to visit “Gramma and them” every weekend, said “Hey Y’all!” when we walked in, answered the phone “M- yello,” used “yeah, love you, too” as sarcasm, and said “Take 'er easy” or “sees ya” instead of goodbye.
Y’all were multicultural, that’s all. Embracing phrases from all sides of the country!
@Artemisia I’m so glad that you were there and able to help him! I give people rides all the time and my family always gets mad at me for doing that. A few months ago I saw this young woman walking on the highway and Zeus and I turned around, but by the time we got back to her the police had gotten to her. I felt so bad. I really wanted to help her!
