I have worked 72 hours in 6 days and this old witch is exhausted and her foot hurts! The girls have been terrible, and I practically crawled out of there this morning. Then they had a call in tonight and wanted me to work. HELL NO!!! Iām not going back to that place for 4 days.

@leilani1 If I donāt take a break, I will literally be face first in the dirt because the Universe will make me. Thatās the great thing about being our age, we know our limits because we have been slapped down a few times times when we thought we had control over our life!
Wow, thatĀ“s 12-hour-workdaysā¦! IĀ“m having 9 or 10-hour workdays and whenever IĀ“m having four or five days in a row, IĀ“m exhausted, too and my feeties hurt!! My pedometer counted more than 13.000 steps yesterday and the day before.
Thank you for the wonderful Welcome. I need to change my habits and start coming on here more often to check things out, I see I dont want to miss anything. There is so much that goes on here Love it!

I donāt know what I did to deserve this, but Iām ill from it.
A neighbor invited a couple of us over for supper and tarot readings. She doesnāt have pets because she cannot handle mess (she just moved in, and her home is already a hoarderās holiday, but we were expected to leave our shoes in the hallway) and her own allergic reactions. Four other people were invited as well, but none of them came (Maybe that was a warning). When the meal was over, I noticed a strange scent. The chicken salad smelled like cat food.
Iāve heard of people eating animal food when they couldnāt afford anything else. Iām hoping they were healthy. My food allergies do not allow for much deviation.
She said we should both come over more often because she had a fridge full of food she needed to eat up as quickly as possible. I shall respectfully decline, thank you.
I ended up with a fever most of the day, so if anyone else has these symptoms, say nothing to the cook: it could be a germ instead. Iām still seeking the cause among all the activities in which Iāve been indulging, lately. My driver had something similar with mac and cheese which was definitely not outdated, so we are waiting to see if her flavor mixup may be a symptom of something else like mine was.
