@Mystique, I canāt imagine living to be 105. She must have been born in 1919? Itās incredible thinking about the things she saw in her lifetime!
I go back to work tomorrow night, so no Thanksgiving with the family this year. My kids and grandkids are so spread out this year, we couldnāt have gotten together anyway. This is my first Thanksgiving at my current job, so I donāt know what to expect with the girls. I hope itās not too hard on them. Itās sad to think about, but most of them probably donāt know what a Thanksgiving with family even feels like.
@Amethyst sending love and good vibes your way for good results on the CAT on Monday
@georgia Im with you on the non traditional food. My esophagus donāt work properly so if I eat anything at all it will be mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes or maybe a little of both.
@Ostara , yes she was born in 1919. I have so many memories of stories she told me about her growing up and the excitement of the new things in her life. Like an indoor bathroom and television.
Thank you, it did go well! Sore as heck today but that will pass.
Today Iām working on making Sourdough pumpkin dinner rolls for tomorrow. Not only do they have pumpkin in them, they will be pumpkin-shaped (if all goes well! )
Your grandma was born one year after mine! This is Elizabeth. She wanted to love to 100. But she made it to 98! Sending love to you. Please post an image of her if you feel like it.
