Any time is a good time to honor anyone. Every time is a good time to share your care and admiration.

I honor you for following Saturn with your responsibilities before enjoyment. Decorating isn’t a requirement to express what is within your deepest being. Yes, it’s fun, but only if it’s done out of inspiration, not out of keeping up with the Joneses… that includes us.

Don’t worry about feeling out of the loop. We all get that way. It’s a call to focus on your own inner beliefs first, to return to your foundation, to reset or question your values, and to take time for you. You’re worth it!

It’s not wrong at all. Actually, if you base Samhain on the ancient traditions it’s actually based on, Samhain is a celebration of the season and not necessarily a day or two. So, if you celebrate the season when you can there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.

We got a new puppy this week, and mixed with school and home responsibilities, everything has been super busy I’m in over my head, of course, but the new addition is absolutely adorable and makes up for it!

Congratulations!!! Does the new addition have a name yet? It’s equal parts extra stress/work and cuteness/destress during the settling-in period but once you get over that bump the benefits more than make up for the lost sleep and stress of the first couple weeks!!

Does the new addition have a name yet?

Yes! My daughter and fiance have decided on Remii or Rem for short She’s actually got such a calm temperament - it’s so cute! She’s doing pretty good with everything, actually. Her and our other dog, Xena (the doberman) get along really well and it’s so fun to watch them play together lol

I have worked 70 hours in 6 days. I had a follow up drs appointment this morning when I got off work. He actually told me that I needed to eat healthier and start exercising! I felt fine before I went to him and now I’m sick? No more Doritos for breakfast and I have to dust off the treadmill. Ugghhh!!!

But for now, I’m going to sit at my beautiful altar and watch the candles burn.
