Hi guys, I have a question about the forum! I’m trying to post my introduction but the new topic button doesn’t work for me on that topic. I can create a new topic in general discussion or recipes, but not any other section. Is there something I am missing?

Sorry to hear about the difficulty with posting- let’s jump in and figure out what is going on so we can get it fixed for you 
(I hope you don’t mind that I re-homed your question into the Site Feedback Category so all the mods know this is an active work in progress- Site Feedback is a public and general category, so you should be able to post and reply here)
→ First, could you please tell me whether you are using the Spells8 App or if you are using a web browser?
One of the most common fixes is to make sure you are logged in to an active Spells8 account, so I will also ask:
→ If you look in the top right-hand corner, can you see your profile picture? (which is a very cute one, by the way! 
)
We’ll get to the bottom of what is going on!

I am using a web browser, and i can see my profile picture on the top right corner (and thank you haha)!
The button isn’t missing so much as it is grey-ed out/faded when i’m in certain topics like introductions and questions (and i can’t click it) and if i start a new post from the forum homepage, i can only add it to general discussion or recipes.
I was wondering if it was a permission’s thing, but i can’t find anything related to only being allowed to post in certain topics.
EDIT: here’s some screenshots to show what i mean:
here the button is faded because i can’t post to the topic (questions) but
on the main page the button is operational!
and here i can start a topic, but i can only choose those two topics

There’s an app?! What?! How did I not know this? Why didn’t I check? Lol. I’m so excited lol. Downloading now. Hope it makes navigating the website easier.
