Merry meet! Summer is burning along and we’re getting closer to the equinox. As signs of autumn begin to appear, it’s mushroom season here in the Northern Hemisphere! The [mushroom discussion from last year](https://forum.spells8.com/t/wild-wicked-mushrooms/64435) has closed, so please accept this new space as a place to share any cool fungi you find. I haven’t spotted any pretty fly agarics or other colorful ones yet. Most of them were munched on (not by me!) What mushrooms have you found? @BryWisteria Lovely photographs. It is the start of the foraging season for fruit. I can see that the Blackberries are ripening do you pick them for a pie? I know that you can pick mushrooms but only certain ones Blessings πŸŒ’πŸ”―πŸ’š ---

Some of these are really beautiful! Thank you for sharing the pictures and the info on them. In my Midwest backyard, mushrooms spring up after a lot of rain. Sometimes they are the tiny, fragile variety that flop quickly when things dry out (and heat back up!), and several are much sturdier. We’ve been in a bit of a dry spell the past few weeks, so I don’t have any pictures. Fingers crossed we get the promised rain this week - I’ll happily look for some! 😊 ---

We have blackberries in the garden at home that are bigger (a different variety I think) so I leave the ones in the woods for the critters. Standing on the overlook surrounded by ancient stone, water, and deep woods, I put my headphones on for the Sunday ritual for **Ra**. Tuning into that Solar energy out in nature was pure recharge. :sun:πŸŽ§πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ I followed it with deep meditation and an elemental release chant to finally let go of everything I no longer claim or wish to carry: β€’ All the heavy grief and pain absorbed from clients each week πŸ•Š β€’ The ongoing family drama and behind-the-scenes stress πŸ›‘ β€’ Every bit of old, stagnant energy weighing me down 🌬 _"High upon this ancient stone,_ \> _Nature’s strength is now my own._ \> _Earth below and wind so free,_ \> _Cleanse the weight and ground in me._ \> _I cast the stagnant to the past,_ \> _Shielded, clear, and free at last._ \> _By rock, by water, sky, and treeβ€”_ \> _As I will, So Mote It Be!"_ πŸͺ¬βœ¨ Every single day, I feel one step closer to finding the real meβ€”learning, understanding, and truly accepting who I am. Also, this place is the **mushroom capital of the world** right now! πŸ„ Crazy finds everywhere. I’m heading back. Going to do a little what I call Brain meditation, listen to my eye of wisdom, and try to learn something. More photos to follow. @markzen304 I did not realise there were so many growing wild. I have never seen so many before they are very different and red and green one give a definite warning not to ear or touch. I know there are ones which are safe for foraging but I have not done it myself πŸŒ–πŸ”―πŸ’š ---
