@SpanishWitchy I can relate to this. My Crystal Visions deck likes to repeat my question back to me. What?! I don’t even try again, I just thank her and put the cards away. It leaves me feeling a little annoyed.
I’ve been using a new deck, The Harmony Tarot Deck, and it hasn’t done anything like that. . . yet :grin:

I calm myself and make sure I’m not anxious for any reason. Set my intention and take a peek. Even if the cards were pre-selected, my mood might interfere with my intuition and I would get a bonkers idea of what I was reading/feeling. I’ve actually read that somewhere (besides the previous sentence :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:)

I understand what you mean! :blush:

I don’t like to read the cards for myself when I’m in any sort of heightened emotional state because my energy and emotions will throw off my interpretation. I can do it, but I have to work hard to ground and center myself before I look at the reading just to make sure I’m not being biased based on my emotional state at the time of the reading.

I think we all know what you mean @SpanishWitchy and we’ve all been there! It’s kind of spooky and cool how in tune decks can be with our emotions, and the level of attunement varies between decks so it’s an interesting journey on it’s own!

Like the other lovelies I meditate and ground myself (I usually realign my chakra) before a reading so that my emotions and intent aren’t confused, and I’ve recently started to clear the deck by drawing an infinity symbol 3 times with clear quartz or amethyst, then try again.

Sometimes though, I have to think back to the deck interview and wonder whether it’s a question or situation that the deck just isn’t comfortable with, so I try another deck. If the reading is still confusing, I figure I’m not ready for the answer yet.
