Hi @Mysterie! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia. Welcome to the forum! :infinite_roots:

Wow, dabbling since the 2nd grade! That’s great. Even if you didn’t know what you were doing then, you knew what you wanted and that’s neat. Have you found the Courses yet? They’re a great way to get started on the site, and they’re chock full of information.

If you have any questions just ask and someone will pop up to help you out! I look forward to chatting with you more!

Hi and Thank you Amethyst. I have always been drawn towards the mystic side. I got my first set of tarot cards when I was in 6th grade… (can’t find them now)… My parents (adopted when I was 4 days old so no ancestry-(but they are my parents LOL) they tinkered with some things when I was quite young but abruptly stopped when some weird (scary) things started happening. I don’t think they knew what they were doing either… LOL with that said… I am digging into the courses, taking notes, and super excited to be learning everything and anything that I can.

Good Morning Bry,
Thank you so much! I have already found answers to questions I did not know I had on the Q&A section. It is a shame I have to work and do “other” things because I could literally live on this site! At the risk of sounding a little weird (and not caring if I do…lol), I get the most amazing feeling when I am on this site studying or doing anything with the craft … I can’t really explain it…a feeling of happiness and excitement… even tears (happy ones) and I am not usually an emotionally charged person that get’s this excited about something…so the watery eyes thing freaks me out a little but… wooowhooo!! Full Steam Ahead!!

It’s hard to put it into words, but I know exactly what you’re talking about, Mysterie! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I usually describe it as that feeling of coming home- of finding a place where you belong, that accepts you wholeheartedly as you are. It’s a very powerful thing indeed, and no one could blame you for feeling like that about such an intense emotional experience (in a good way)!

I’m loving your enthusiasm and passion- yes, full steam ahead, my friend! May you continue to enjoy and thrive in your magickal studies!
