Off to the cabin

Oh - just gorgeous! Looks so peaceful and warm - I see y’all sitting there in t-shirts and I’m jealous!

Beautiful place. I’m sure part of you is still there! Did you get any time with your watercolors? :artist_palette: :paintbrush:

It is a beautiful place. One of the great things about it is that you can do as much, or as little, as you want. They have guided trail rides, ATV rentals, you can hike, fish, (no hunting though) paddle boards and kayaks are free to use on the lake, mountain bikes are free to use. There’s a splash pad near the beach, pickle ball courts, swings etc.

They put on events for families and kids – escape rooms, hay rides etc. When we went in the office, the girls were putting together “Boo Bags” for the kids that would be staying over Halloween. And out on the trail, we found a little “treasure chest” with cute little bracelets and stuff for kids, with a note to please only take one per person!!

Or you can just hang out at the beach and do nothing, or hang out at your cabin and do nothing.

Eric took his laptop and did a bit of writing (he’s working with an editor on a fantasy novel) so while he did that, I got my paints out.

We also did a bit of hiking, although I can’t go far with my knees. And we rented the can-am ATV which allowed us to explore more fully and that’s when I got the photos.
