This has been coming for a while, our cat Abbie has been having kidney isses and now is refusing to eat. We already had a follow up appointment booked for today, but I feel that perhaps this is the end for her. Eric is broken up as she has been his special cat for 15 years. This morning I worked with Co-Pilot on a prayer for her. We will say this prayer with her before we take her to the vet. # Prayer for a Beloved Cat Companion _Great Goddess, gentle Mother Earth, and wise spirits of all creatures,_ _We come to you with open hearts, holding our beloved feline friend close in spirit._ _She has graced our lives with warmth, joy, and unconditional love,_ _Her soft purrs and quiet presence have been a blessing through many days and nights._ _As she faces this uncertain time, struggling to eat and growing weary,_ _We ask for your comfort and guidance._ _Bless her with peace and freedom from pain,_ _Surround her with your loving energy as she visits the healer today._ _If this moment marks her final journey, may she cross the Rainbow Bridge softly,_ _Wrapped in our love and the gentle embrace of the Divine._ _Let her spirit soar free, returning to the circle of life, ever cherished._ _We honor all the days she shared with us—her playful leaps, wise gazes, and quiet companionship._ _Thank you for the love she gave, and for the memories that will live on._ _Our hearts are full of gratitude, and though we grieve, we celebrate the life she lived._ So mote it be. ---
