Hurricane Drink Recipe

Servings: 1 serving
Prep time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

3 ounces orange juice
3 ounces pineapple juice
3 ounces cranberry juice
1 Tbsp lime juice
1 Tbsp grenadine
1 orange, sliced into wheels
Maraschino cherries

Directions:

Add a few ice cubes to a cocktail shaker.

Add the orange juice, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, lime juice, and grenadine to the cocktail shaker as well. Cover and shake for about 20 seconds.

Strain the mix into a tall hurricane glass, then add fresh ice.

Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry. Enjoy!

Notes:

You can double this recipe, and it will still fit in a large cocktail shaker. Any larger and we recommend mixing the ingredients in a pitcher, then adding ice to the pitcher and serving it like a punch.

Replace the grenadine with maraschino cherry juice. It will have a slightly different taste but still be fruity and delicious!

The original hurricane cocktail is made with dark and light rum, which, of course, we skip. We don’t need alcohol ruining our delicious drink! The hurricane is far better without the alcohol; that is a fact!

Homemade Birthday Cake Creamer

Prep Time: 2 minutes
Cook Time: 3 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 10

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups half & half
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup heavy cream
2 teaspoon Cake Batter Extract

Directions:

Add the half & half, sugar, and heavy cream to a medium saucepan and heat over low, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Remove from the heat and stir in the cake batter extract. Stir until well combined.

Allow to cool at room temperature for 15 minutes, then transfer to a mason jar or other airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks!

Notes:

This makes about 2.5 cups of creamer!

Optional Variations & Dietary Adjustments:

Dairy-Free/Vegan - Use your preferred plant-based half & half and cream substitutes (or use full-fat oat milk and full-fat canned coconut milk, well-shaken), organic sugar or cane sugar, and make sure that your birthday cake flavoring extract is vegan-friendly.

Sugar-Free - Swap in your favorite cup-for-cup sugar-free sweetener (e.g. monkfruit) for a low-carb, diabetic-friendly creamer.

Chocolate Cake - Not a funfetti fan? Add a tablespoon or two of unsweetened cocoa powder to the pan with the sugar, whisk to incorporate, then add the cream and half & half and proceed as instructed for a chocolatey twist.

Recipe Success Tips:

Don’t skip the simmer. Gently heating the mixture helps the sugar dissolve completely and allows the flavors to meld. Just don’t let it boil, or the dairy may curdle.

Use high-quality extract. Not all cake batter extracts are created equal. Look for one with natural flavors if possible—some artificial versions can taste overly sweet or chemical-like.

Adjust sweetness to taste. This recipe is designed to be moderately sweet, but if you prefer more or less sugar, it’s easy to tweak. Start with less and taste before adding more.

Make it froth-friendly. If you plan to froth it, avoid low-fat milk substitutes and go for full-fat dairy or creamy plant milks like barista-style oat or coconut milk.

Store smartly. Homemade birthday cake creamer will last in the fridge for up to 2 weeks if kept in an airtight container. Consider investing in a pour-friendly jar (or mason jar attachment) to ensure easy, mess-free usage.

Don’t freeze it. The high dairy content won’t do well under extreme cold—it has a tendency to separate and become grainy after defrosting. Instead, mix with cold brew first (in whatever dilution you prefer), then freeze into ice pops for a frosty treat.

FAQs:

Is Chobani birthday cake creamer a limited edition?

Yep—as of time of publication (July 2025), Chobani’s confetti birthday cake creamer is only a limited edition, so if you see it, stock up while you can. Or, don’t worry about it—now you know the secret to making your own at home!

What’s the difference between vanilla and birthday cake?

Vanilla and birthday cake flavors may seem similar, but they’re actually quite different. Vanilla is a classic—warm, aromatic, and slightly floral. Birthday cake flavor, on the other hand, builds on that vanilla base but adds extra elements to mimic the taste of cake batter or boxed cake mix. It’s sweeter, richer, and often includes buttery and sugary notes, sometimes with a hint of almond or frosting-like flavor.

What does birthday cake coffee taste like?

Like a slice of funfetti served with a creamy coffee!

Homemade Birthday Cake Coffee Creamer Nutrition:

Each generous ¼ cup (4 tablespoon) serving provides about 167 calories, with 8 grams of fat and 22 grams of sugar. While it’s definitely a treat, it fits into a balanced diet when used mindfully—especially if you’re only adding a tablespoon or two to your coffee at a time.

Most of the calories come from cream and sugar, which contribute to its rich texture and cake-like sweetness. Nutritionally, it’s low in sodium and protein, and it doesn’t contain any artificial preservatives or dyes if you’re using high-quality extract and pantry ingredients.

For those watching their sugar intake, you could easily adapt the recipe using a sugar-free sweetener to cut back on carbohydrates without losing flavor. All in all, if you’re looking to enjoy the nostalgic taste of birthday cake without eating an actual slice, this creamer is a playful way to satisfy that craving! Enjoy every sweet, celebratory sip.

Honey Latte

Prep Time: 7 minutes
Total Time: 7 minutes
Servings: 1 serving

Ingredients:

3 ounces espresso or strong concentrated coffee (generous ⅓ cup )
6-9 ounces milk, cows or oat milk preferred (ž-generous 1 cup )
1 Tablespoon Honey Syrup
Teeny pinch sea salt
Sprinkle of cinnamon (optional)

Directions:

Heat 1 cup of milk on the stove top until steaming. Do not boil. Alternatively, place the milk in a jar in the microwave and microwave for about 1 minute, or until steaming.

Stir in honey and salt. Use a milk frother to froth the milk until foamy, if desired.

Add two shots of espresso or 3-4 ounces of very strong brewed coffee into a mug. Pour the milk mixture over the top.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!

Notes:

Adjust sweetness and milk levels to make your drink as sweet and strong as you like! If you don’t have honey syrup, lower the sweetener to about 2 teaspoons of honey.

Oat milk can be used to make a dairy-free honey latte.

Alternatives and Adjustments:

Make a dairy-free honey latte by substituting oat milk for cow’s milk. Oat milk makes a really creamy latte. Just be aware that you may need to adjust the sweetener if you’re using sweetened oat milk.

If you don’t want to bother with the honey syrup, lower the sweetener to 1-2 teaspoons of straight honey.

Make a Honey Cappuccino by combining 3 ounces of espresso, 3 ounces of steamed milk, and 3 ounces of milk foam.

Use less milk for a stronger latte with a more concentrated coffee flavor.

Berry Purple Power Smoothie

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Yield: serves 2

Ingredients:

1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
6 large strawberries (fresh preferred; frozen is OK)
1/2 cup coconut water* (or milk)
1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt*
optional: 1 Tablespoon honey, or to taste

Directions:

Make sure you have a strong, powerful blender that will blend up the frozen berries. Add all of the ingredients to the blender in the order listed. Blend on high for at least 3 minutes or until smooth.

Scrape down the sides of the blender as needed. Add more coconut water if it’s too thick. Taste; then add 1 Tablespoon of honey (or a little more as needed) if the smoothie is too tart. I usually add 1 Tablespoon.

Serve and enjoy. Store any leftover smoothie covered in the refrigerator for up to 8-10 hours.

Notes:

For Thick Smoothies: If using ALL fresh fruit (instead of frozen), I suggest adding a handful of ice to keep the smoothie nice and thick. Frozen raspberries and blueberries are preferred because they lend a lovely, thick texture that isn’t icy.

Coconut Water: If you don’t want to use coconut water or don’t have any, use milk (dairy or nondairy) instead. Coconut milk is tasty here as well.

Yogurt: I prefer nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt, but low-fat or full-fat are fine too. Use any flavor you like best with these berries, or you can use plain.

Lavender London Fog Tea Latte

Prep: 2 minutes
Cook: 5 minutes
Total Time: 7 minutes
Servings: 2 servings

Ingredients:

3 cups water
2 bags Earl Grey tea (2 tsp) loose tea
2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender plus more for garnish
2 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice (like sugar)
1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy) or half-n-half or cream)

Directions:

Bring water to a boil in a saucepan or tea kettle. Add Earl Grey tea, dried lavender, and honey. Stir and let steep for 4-5 minutes. A longer steeping time will elevate the lavender flavors.

Strain the tea and fill two latte mugs ž full.

Gently heat the milk over medium heat until warm. Froth with a whisk or milk frother.

Spoon foam over the latte and add a pinch of dried lavender to garnish.

Notes:

Honey: I enjoy the flavor of honey in this latte, but you could also substitute your favored sweetener, like granulated sugar, if you prefer. Sweetness helps bring the floral lavender flavor forward. I highly recommend adding it!

Milk: Whole milk, half-and-half, cream, or your favorite milk works here. A higher fat content in the milk makes it easier to froth. In fact, if you’re using half and half, you can froth with a whisk (although I still use my Handheld Milk Frother because it’s SO quick!).

Spring Iced Tea

Prep Time 10 minutes
Servings: 2

Ingredients:

1 tbsp Tea leaves
1 cup Hot water
1 cup Cold water
10 Ice cubes
10 Mint leaves
5 Lemon slices
5 Green apple slices
2 tsp Maple syrup
1/2 tsp Vanilla

Directions:

Add the tea leaves to a large jug. Pour over the hot water, cover, and let it brew as per the packet instructions. The longer you brew it, the stronger the tea – obviously.

Remove the cover and pour in the cold water. Add the rest of your ingredients and stir. Give it a taste and adjust if needed.

Pour through a strainer into a glass. Serve with a few slices of apples on a skewer.

Notes:

If you want the tea stronger, let it brew longer. You can even add more tea leaves if needed.

You can use pear, plum, or apricots in place of apples.

Strawberry-Carrot Smoothies

Yield: 5 servings
Prep: 5 min

Ingredients:

2 cups reduced-fat plain Greek yogurt
1 cup carrot juice
1 cup orange juice
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 cup frozen unsweetened sliced strawberries

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a blender; cover and process until smooth.

Notes:

Strawberry-Carrot Smoothie Tips:

Can you taste carrots in smoothies?

You can taste the carrots, but they’re high in natural sugars and make a delightful complement to other sweet ingredients, like strawberries. Still hungry? Here’s how to glaze carrots in A Sweet Side Dish for dinner.

Can you blend raw carrots?

While this recipe uses carrot juice to simplify the process, you can blend raw carrots for smoothies or juice. Make it easier for your blender by slicing your carrots before blending. (Just make sure to protect your fingers if you’re Slicing With A Mandoline).

Do you peel carrots for smoothies?

It’s up to you! As long as your carrots are washed, you can peel or not peel according to your preference (and how much time you have on your hands). Try out some of Our Favorite Kitchen Gadgets—peeler included.

Raspberry Mocha Latte

Prep Time: 2 minutes
Cook Time: 3 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Yield: one latte

Ingredients:

1 cup milk of choice (I used whole milk)
3 tablespoons raspberry syrup
1 tablespoon chocolate chips
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
2 oz espresso (or 8 oz freshly brewed coffee)
crushed freeze-dried raspberries (optional for garnish)

Directions:

Add the milk, raspberry syrup, chocolate chips, and cocoa powder to a small saucepan and heat over medium-low heat. Whisk frequently until the chocolate is melted and everything is well combined and smooth.

Remove the chocolate mixture from the heat and froth with a milk frother if desired. Set aside.

Brew your espresso or coffee into a mug, then top with the frothed raspberry chocolate milk. Drink up!

Notes:

Substitutions:

Need to make some ingredient swaps? Not to worry! I’ve got you covered:

Whole Milk - Feel free to use any variety of dairy or plant-based milk you prefer.

Raspberry Simple Syrup - Strawberry Syrup would also be good for a chocolate-dipped strawberry vibe!

Chocolate Chips - You can swap in finely chopped bar chocolate if you don’t have chips.

Unsweetened Cocoa Powder - While it’s a bit more bitter, raw cacao powder is a Nutrient Powerhouse. (The flavor should be balanced out by the sweetness of the milk and simple syrup, so it’ll still be yummy!)

Espresso - Try using strong, freshly brewed coffee or cold brew instead—just note that you’ll need a bit extra to get the same oomph.

Crushed Freeze-Dried Raspberries - Feel free to omit these extras, or swap in the latte topper(s) of your choice—whipped cream, mini marshmallows, or mini chocolate chips would all be great!

Recipe Success Tips:

Whisk it real good! Since we’re using actual chocolate in our recipe, it’s essential to really mix it in. While chocolate dregs at the bottom of the mug are delicious, I like getting all that fudgy yum in every sip.

Brew Fresh. Espresso has a relatively short shelf-life—a friend who used to work at Starbucks told me baristas are trained to dump any that’s over 10 seconds old. While that might be a little bit extreme for our home café, note that your drinks will taste their best if you wait to brew the coffee until *right before* assembly.

FAQs:

How many pumps of syrup does Starbucks use for flavored drinks?

Generally speaking, 3 pumps for tall, 4 pumps for grande (what my DIY recipes aim for), 5 pumps for venti. But, for a doubly-flavored drink like this raspberry mocha, you’d get that many pumps *each* of raspberry and mocha syrup.

Does Starbucks have a raspberry mocha?

They used to, but not anymore! They discontinued carrying raspberry syrup in 2023. But now you can make your own!

Why was Starbucks raspberry discontinued?

Who knows why Starbucks does what they do? I imagine it had something to do with low sales, but that’s just a guess.

Homemade Raspberry Syrup

Prep Time: 3 minutes
Cook Time: 2 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 13

Ingredients:

1 cup raspberries (fresh or frozen)
1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar

Directions:

Add the raspberries, water, and sugar to a medium saucepan.

Stirring occasionally, bring to a simmer over medium heat.

Simmer for 1-2 minutes, or until the raspberries disintegrate into mostly seeds and mush. Remove from heat.

Strain the raspberry pulp from the liquid, discarding the pulp and reserving the liquid. Allow the syrup to cool at room temperature for 15 minutes.

After the cooling time, transfer the syrup to a syrup bottle or mason jar with a lid and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Notes:

Substitutions:

Raspberries - Feel free to swap in any berry or mix of berries that you prefer.

Water & Granulated Sugar - For a fun, bright twist, try swapping in lemonade or limeade for the water and sugar.

Optional Variations & Dietary Adjustments:

Sugar-Free Raspberry Syrup - For a diabetic-friendly version, swap in your favorite cup-for-cup sweetener (e.g. monkfruit).

Mixed Berry/Other Berry Syrup - Don’t feel limited to raspberries—blueberries, blackberries, huckleberries, or highly elusive snozz-berries are all welcome.

FAQs:

Does raspberry syrup go bad? How long does it last? How should I store it?

Alas, like all good things, raspberry syrup does eventually spoil. It should keep well in the fridge for about a week, or in the freezer for 6 months. To extend the shelf life, double the amount of sugar you use to make a “rich simple syrup,” which should last for 6 months in the fridge or a year in the freezer.

Do they have raspberry syrup at Starbucks? Is it coming back?

Unfortunately, there is no raspberry syrup at Starbucks at the time of publication, and there’s no indication if/when they’ll be bringing it back. But now that you know how to make it yourself, you’re no longer at the mercy of the coffee giant’s whims!

Is grenadine a raspberry syrup?

Nope, but they do taste pretty similar. Grenadine is pomegranate-flavored, but the tart flavor of raspberries makes this syrup a great stand-in for making homemade Shirley Temples and Roy Rogers.

Pink Punch Recipe

Servings: 12
Prep: 3 minutes
Total: 3 minutes

Ingredients:

1 (48-ounce) can DOLE pineapple juice
1 cup pink lemonade mix
1 (2-liter) bottle Sprite or 7UP

Directions:

Add pineapple juice and lemonade mix to a large pitcher. Right before serving, add Sprite and mix well. Add ice and ENJOY!

Notes:

Recipe tips:

This punch looks so delicious and pretty in a glass pitcher, bowl, or beverage dispenser. To really make it shine, add sliced lemons, pineapple rings, and strawberries.

Do not mix the powder with water as stated on the can. You are only using the lemonade powder in the recipe.

Be sure to mix the lemonade with the pineapple juice. If you add the powder last, then it will fizz so much that it overflows.

Pink lemonade is my favorite to use, but regular Yellow Lemonade, Blue Raspberry Lemonade, or Cherry Limeade Lemonade mix can be used.

Ice cubes can melt and water down the punch. We like to add complementary frozen fruits to the punch bowl. Another idea is to make a small batch of punch ahead of time and freeze it into ice cubes.

Prep ahead of time. Mix the pineapple juice with the lemonade powder and keep it refrigerated for 2-3 days. You can also keep it in the freezer for at least 3 months. Thaw if needed and add the sprite just before serving.

Store leftovers in the fridge for 2-3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months. Be aware that the carbonation in the soda will diminish with storage.

Pink Punch Ingredients and Substitutions:

1 (48-ounce) can DOLE pineapple juice – We use DOLE pineapple juice, but other brands can be used.

1 cup pink lemonade mix – or another flavor of lemonade

1 (2-liter) bottle Sprite or 7UP – or another lemon-lime soda or ginger ale

Prep ahead of time?

Mix the pineapple juice with the lemonade powder and keep it refrigerated for 2-3 days. You can also keep it in the freezer for at least 3 months. Thaw if needed and add the sprite just before serving.

How to store?

Carrot Cake Smoothie

Yield: 2 servings
Prep: 10 minutes
Total: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

Ingredients

2 medium carrots, peeled and roughly chopped
1 container vanilla Greek yogurt (about 1/2 cup) 5.3 ounces
½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Âź cup unsweetened flaked or shredded coconut
Âź cup walnuts
1 tablespoon honey
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Âź teaspoon ground ginger
Pinch ground nutmeg
1 cup ice

Directions:

Add all ingredients to the blender in the order given.

Blend until smooth.

Notes:

Carrot Smoothie Recipe Variations:

Can These Carrot Cake Smoothies Be Made Vegan?

Yes, these carrot cake smoothies are easily made vegan. Instead of the vanilla Greek yogurt, use a vegan yogurt alternative. I’ve seen vanilla-flavored soy milk, cashew milk, almond milk, and coconut milk yogurt alternatives at grocery stores in my area.

The other thing you’ll need to do to keep this carrot smoothie vegan is to swap the honey out for a vegan sweetener, such as maple syrup or agave nectar.

Alternatives to Vanilla Almond Milk:

We often keep vanilla almond milk on hand for smoothies, but if you don’t, there’s lot of other options. You can use pretty much any milk that you do have on hand!

Dairy milk is great here (and in caramel coffee). So is coconut milk, cashew milk, soy milk or any other milk you can think of.

If you’re not a fan of any type of milk, you can add juice to loosen this carrot cake smoothie up (without any liquid at all, it’ll be very hard to blend). Carrot juice would be the best choice, but a splash of apple juice or orange juice would be great, too.

Do I Have To Use Walnuts?

Nope, you definitely don’t have to use walnuts for this carrot cake smoothie! I had some on hand, and since they’re often included in carrot cake, I used them here.

Pecans are just as delicious here as they are in Thanksgiving fruit salad. Almonds are also great in this carrot smoothie. Or a scoop of almond butter (or even homemade almond butter) would add protein and nutty flavor.

Or, if you’re not a nut person, you can skip them altogether.

Storing Carrot Smoothies:

Smoothies are best enjoyed right away, but this carrot cake smoothie recipe can be prepared and refrigerated overnight. Store it in a mason jar with a lid, and give it a good shake in the morning before serving.

You can also freeze this carrot smoothie. Place the smoothie in a freezer food storage container with a tight-fitting lid, leaving at least a half-inch clearance at the top of the container to allow for expansion. Or, freeze in freezer zip-top bags.

Freeze for up to two months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.

Copycat Shamrock Shake

Prep Time: 5 mins
Total Time: 5 mins
Servings: 1 to 2 servings

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream
3/4 cup whole milk
1 drop green gel food coloring (see note)
1/2 teaspoon mint extract

For garnish:

Whipped cream (store bought or Make Your Own)
1 tablespoon green sprinkles
2 maraschino cherries

Directions:

In a blender, combine vanilla ice cream, milk, food coloring, and mint extract. Blend until smooth

Pour the milkshake mixture evenly between 2 glasses.

Top with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a cherry. Straws encouraged but not required

Notes:

Double this recipe for 2 large milkshakes.

Tips and Tricks for Making Shamrock Shakes at Home:

This recipe makes two 8-ounce shakes, but it’s easy to scale up or down. I love a small blender like a bullet or even an immersion blender when I’m making shakes for two, but a large blender is best when making them for a crowd.

My version of a Shamrock Shake is a smooth milkshake you can easily pull up through a standard straw.

To make it thinner: Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk

To make it thicker: Reduce the milk by 1 to 2 tablespoons.

Another aspect to consider is: How green do you want to go? You can use either gel or water-based food coloring.

Gel-based: A small drop of gel-based food color will add vibrant hues to your drink. I like to use LorAnn’s gel-based food dyes here (and in most of my other dessert and baking applications).

Water-based: You will need to use at least 1 teaspoon of water-based food coloring to reach a minty color. You might also want to reduce the amount of milk you’re adding by the amount of liquid food coloring to maintain the consistency of the shake.

Sparkling Mint Limeade

Prep: 5 minutes
Cook: 10 minutes
Cool: 20 minutes
Total: 35 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients:

3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
3/4 cup fresh lime juice
3 cups cold water
1 cup sparkling water
5 sprigs fresh mint leaves, , divided

Directions:

Add sugar and 1 cup of water to a saucepan. Stir and bring to a boil.

Boil for 5 minutes, then remove from the heat and add 2 sprigs of fresh mint. Allow to cool to room temperature.

Add the simple syrup to a pitcher. Add fresh lime juice, cold water, sparkling water and remaining sprigs of fresh mint leaves. Stir well.

Taste for sweetness and add more cold water to dilute, if necessary.

Notes:

How to cut and juice a lime:

You will need a lime and a pairing knife. It’s best to cut the lime into specific pieces before squeezing and juicing them to ensure you get the most juice out of the lime. First, make a lengthwise cut in the lime just to the side of the stem.

Make the same, lengthwise but on the other side of the stem. Then rotate the lime and make two more lengthwise cuts so that you have four oval like pieces of lime and one rectangular core-like piece.

Finally, squeeze each lime piece over your bowl. The best part of this method is that lime juice won’t run down your hand or arm. Instead, it will drop right down into your pan/bowl.

Thick and Creamy Baileys Iced Coffee

Prep Time 20 minutes
Chilling time 2 hours
Total Time 2 hours 20 minutes
Servings: 3

Ingredients:

1 cup whole/whipping cream
½ cup strong very hot coffee
1½ teaspoons sugar
1 ounce dark chocolate good quality
1½ -2 tablespoons Baileys

Directions:

In a medium bowl, whisk together the hot coffee, sugar, and chopped chocolate until smooth and completely melted. Let cool completely, then stir in the Baileys. Refrigerate for approximately 20 minutes.

Whip the cream until stiff peaks appear, slowly add the coffee mixture, stir gently until combined. Refrigerate 1-2 hours or freeze 30-60 minutes.

Stir gently before serving, top with whipped or chocolate shavings if desired, or serve frozen with a spoon. Enjoy!

Notes:

Store the Baileys iced coffee in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, in the freezer for up to a week.

Variations:

Decaf coffee: For those limiting caffeine intake you can use decaf coffee. All the same flavors but without the worry that will be up all night!

Dairy-free: To make a dairy-free version, use Baileys Almande and a dairy-free whipping cream. All the Irish cream coffee flavors without the dairy.

Martini: After chilling your Baileys coffee mixture, place in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into a martini glass.

Extra boozy: For a stronger cocktail you can add some additional Irish whiskey, Kahlua or even vanilla vodka.

Extra creamy: Serve the refrigerated and chilled iced Baileys over a scoop of ice cream!

Expert Tips for the Best Baileys Iced Coffee Cocktail:

Avoid a watered down drink: To keep the flavor as strong as possible, serve it immediately after removing it from the fridge or freezer.

Coffee ice cubes: When serving chilled from the refrigerator serving coffee ice cubes along with the creamy cocktail will help keep the drink chilled without diluting it. To make coffee ice cubes just place leftover morning coffee in ice cube trays and freeze.

Other Baileys flavors: There are so many varieties of Baileys other than the original Irish cream! Try strawberries and cream, chocolate cherry, salted caramel, red velvet, apple pie or even colada.

Chilled glass: Serve your iced coffee with Baileys in a chilled glass or mug to keep it cold!

What is Baileys Irish Cream?

Baileys Irish cream is an Irish liquor that was created in Dublin, Ireland by Gilbeys of Ireland in the early 1970s. It has a smooth and silk texture from a combination of Irish whiskey, cream, sugar and cocoa extract. Its unique rich taste makes it great to sip on its own or to combine with coffee or other classic cocktails.
Does this drink need to be alcoholic?

No! If you prefer a non-alcoholic Baileys iced coffee, replace the alcohol with an Irish cream coffee creamer or even Baileys coffee cream. It will still be delicious and now you are able to serve it to everyone regardless of age or alcohol preference.

Can I use instant coffee for this Baileys cold brew coffee?

You can use whatever coffee you like! Although I recommended you make your instant coffee stronger than package directions as the cream and Baileys will dilute it.

Should Baileys Iced Coffee be refrigerated?

Store the Baileys iced coffee in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, in the freezer for up to a week.

Can I make this drink ahead of time?

Since this drink can be served either chilled or as a frozen Baileys recipe, yes! After combining your coffee mixture with whipping cream mixture you can either refrigerate the cocktail for an iced Baileys or freeze it for a frozen Baileys cocktail. Either way it’s delicious!
