Merry meet, I thought I shared this sigil here before, but I just went looking for it and couldn’t find it - so perhaps not! This is a **sigil I use to help boost concentration and focus**. This sigil is based on the “black dot”, which is the idea that staring at a dot for a certain length of time helps to pull your focus into the moment. The exact length of time and shape of the image differ from one source to the next and I can’t seem to find a single source credited with the idea, but here is a [Black Dot Exercise on YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtu_MuZqiGc) and here is a [web app version](https://www.oneminutefocus.com/). There are many versions of it - here is my personal interpretation of the black dot as a [magickal sigil](https://spells8.com/sigil-making-101/). **SIGIL FOR FOCUS** ![SIGIL FOR FOCUS](https://spells8s3.b-cdn.net/original/3X/3/b/3b828533435eaee0e26112338e9923395a6491ab.png) The idea is to sit with the sigil in front of you. The gaps in the outer ring allow for weaker attention to enter, but then catch and hold it as attention grows. The arrows draw the eye and help your gaze to fix to the black dot. There, at the center, focus grows and sharpens until the time is up.
