I can see that you’ve already got some helpful advice and resources from others, have you found the Merry Meet Monday post yet? (if not- here is the MMM for this week!) It is a weekly post in the forum with a list of upcoming events, activities, witchy holidays, and other fun things to be aware of. It’s a good place to find your bearings! 
As you may have already found, there is lot going on in the forum. My favorite way to quickly find what I’m looking for is to use the Search Tool and/or Tagging System. These tools can help you to quickly navigate to any posts or discussions about topics you are studying!
