Spell jar container questions

I have these small plastic containers that I want to repurpose. They’re about the size of a can of chewing tobacco. I was wanting to put some sort of sleep spell in them. Would such container be suitable for that sort of thing? They’re white plastic also. I try to reuse things as best I can as a way to honor mother earth and to cut costs.

Thanks for you input

I think they would be fine. You would just need to cleanse them to release any old energy they may be holding. You can do this by smudging, or placing them under runnng water and imagining the old energy being washed away, or any other method you like to use to cleanse your items and your sacred space.

They sound like a very useful find and could be used for all sorts of things!

This is a little off topic but could I use bay leaves or other herbs instead of sage or palo santo for cleansing?

It’s really all in the intention, If you wanted to, you could just say a short prayer to clear the stale energy.

So if you would like to use bay leaves or other herbs, with that intention, it would be perfectly fine.

(I don’t use sage or palo santo in my house either, because I have cats and don’t want them to have to breathe the smoke)
