Thanks for sharing Kasie!! Congrats on the last Pentacle card! 👏 👏 Looking at the King of Pentacles I feel that it’s the busiest card in the deck. To me the card is about hard work (hence the reward), and to me that’s why it feels like he’s neck deep in his posessions and affairs. This line in particular called out to me- oftentimes being “reward motivated” (in a material sense, as tied to the Pentacles) is seen as a negative trait, but here in the Upright meaning I feel like it takes on a more positive light. While in an ideal world everyone would only be motivated by higher purposes, in this world I think everyone does things for treats and goodies- be it money or otherwise. There are situations where working for a goal is good, but that’s a reward too, even if it’s just the feel-good feeling of knowing you’ve done a job well. And who wouldn’t work for cake? LOL!
