You are so cool, Roxanne! I bet your grandkids would help you pick out a good shade and help you dye your hair- and I know you will look AMAZING! :purple_heart:

I say GO FOR IT! Isn’t this the subject line - To Find Your Personal Symbol? That is YOUR personal symbol (okay more like Look…still the same).

Thank you for sharing! I tried this earlier today and I don’t think I found my personal symbol but I do think I found something else? Here’s what happened:

I got into the meditative state and started seeing myself walking up a spiraled marble staircase (no handrails!) in the heavens(?). I could only describe it as outer space, but instead of a black sky it was a mixture of blues. There were stars everywhere and waterfalls that were pouring down from somewhere so high I couldn’t see the origin point. I never actually reached the top of the stairs but at some point I came into a green field/garden/clearing with an old barn in the distance. There was a woman with long, red hair with a crown braid and a flower crown wearing a long, white dress. She was playing the harp and smiling warmly at me. I kept walking and ended up at a stone circle (basically Stonehenge) and walked into the middle of it. I turned around and the woman was there along with a bigger, tall man whose smile was so big I’m pretty sure he couldn’t see  I then, suddenly got an overwhelming feeling of joy and acceptance and started crying and promptly pulled out of the meditation.

So uhhhhhh any thoughts? I feel like this is more than a personal symbol…

It sounds like you had an amazing meditation, @kae! Perhaps, you may consider one of the items (like the harp, barn, waterfalls, or flower crown), symbols (such as the circle of stones), or less-tangible themes (such as music, feminity, or harmony) to be related to your personal symbol somehow? But yes, I agree- it sounds like your vision went beyond your initial quest for a symbol, and how exciting it was! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

She sounds lovely! The first thing that comes to mind is that she may be a deity reaching out to you. Do you have a Goddess that you relate to at all? I can’t claim to be a deity expert- perhaps do some digging and see if you can find out more about her :+1:

Since she appeared in the same vision as a man, it is possible that you met a version of the Wiccan Deities: the Triple Goddess and Horned God :crescent_moon: .

Wiccan-Deities-Lesson-750x500

There are so many deities across various traditions and practices- here are some good places to learn more, and see if any of them could be the figures you encountered in your meditation:

Of course, you don’t have to put a name or label on them! They were clearly very special and reaching out to you  :two_hearts: It seems they wanted to bring you joy and acceptance!

Blessed Be! :sparkles:

What a lovely experience! :green_heart:

Like @BryWisteria, I would choose one of the tangible things you saw as a symbol. Did anything particularly resonate with you? Maybe a circle (Stonehenge) or the harp?

I also agree a god or Goddess could have been reaching out to you  red hair and a harp speak of Irish heritage to me (my dad’s Irish) so maybe start your research there?

Good luck! :four_leaf_clover:

My daughter in law is a beautician, and has the dark purple and light lavendar, she lives quite aways away but the come every couple of months, she sent me a pick of the two colors, said she will bring them next time… much to the chagrin of my hubby who is albeit very open minded with a mix of staunch old fashioned…he would get used to it,I am sure and like before never even notice it was done if he were not around when it was done. Some Men just do not notice those things…lol

That’s perfect! Ohhh I’m so excited for you and your soon-to-be purple hair, live your dreams, @roxanne! :purple_heart: Yes- I’m sure your husband will get used to it quickly. Who knows, maybe he’ll even want to dye his hair or beard to match you! :+1:

Thank you for your insites, @BryWisteria @Abs53 @roxanne !

I think I’ll take Roxanne’s advice and do some more meditating and see if they show me anything, but I do resonate with the harp, flower crown, and stone circle. I really wish I had kept up with my daily meditations, I’m a little worried I missed out on some things…

Since I have Irish heritage, I also did a lot of research into the Celtic deities as well as consulting with a few other witchy friends, and I feel like the man and woman were The Dagda and Brigid, respectively. I don’t really know what this means for me or where to go from here, so I made this lol:

I’m sure I’ll learn over time, but again any advice for this baby witch is much appreciated! :green_heart:

I’m so happy you were able to discover who they were, @kae! And I’m laughing at your meme, I love it :joy:

Ohhhhhh @Abs53! This is a beautiful symbol- I love how the design is simple but the meaning is so deep :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: The arrows pointing up make me think of mountains and adventure, and many positive things :two_hearts:

Don’t overthink it, that will get you into trouble, usually the very first thing that pops into your mind is it.

To @phyliss and @jill- do it, do it!!! :+1: Go for the vibrant colors if they are calling to you- live expressively! And if you don’t like how it looks, no worries- hair can always be re-dyed a different color  :purple_heart:
