I chose Maahes. Mahees is an Egyptian lion-headed solar god. He is linked to truth and balance. He was rarely called by his name and mostly referred to as The Lord of Massacre, Wielder of the Knife, and Lord of Slaughter. Despite these names Maahes is known by he was not seen as evil. He punished those who broke the rules of Ma’at. He was a promoter of order and justice. He was also known as the Avenger of Wrongs and the Helper of the Wise, The Kindly One. Maahes was considered to be the patron of the pharaoh. He was described as the son of Bast and the son of Sehkmet. The cult center of Maahes is Leontopolis. Tame lions were lovingly cared for here.
