Some of you already know, but I’ve been in the process of drying and harvesting my lavender (more pics in this discussion here). I decided to make a lavender wreath!
It took significantly more time than I thought it would (and a lot more lavender- twice as much as I had planned for! 
) but I’m happy with how it turned out.
I ended up just using the smaller vine wreath- I imagine the larger size would have taken me all day to do!
I started with wrapping individual bundles and attaching them one by one, but it worked better when I placed the stalks directly on the base and then wrapped one to two times around them.
Ta-dah!
I haven’t decided if I’ll leave it to dry (it’s sure to fall apart a bit during the drying process) or to spray a sealer on it to preserve it for longer- it would keep the color and last much longer, but would hide the scent and mean I can’t use the buds for anything afterwards. Choices, choices.
For now, it’s hanging on the door
