Hello, @amethyst I love turtle
I love the turtle turtle reminds me to have a hard shell and techno shit even when I have that soft heart and compassionate empathy for people. be careful to have empathy and compassion for others. Sometimes this can be a difficult place to be. I know cause I have empathy for others, but sometimes my empathy takes me to an extreme to help others. Anyhow, it’s not about me. It’s about you amethyst and I apologize I didn’t mean to make it about me. !
I did a meditation with the purple candle and since its a dark moon decided to give a offering to Hecate and its so crazy cause I am in school and my husband gave me a wooden amulet so I can paint it. It is the mountains, and is a reminder to me to climb the mountain and to continue my path in park and rec. Also the fact that it has two sides of duality. One side is the thinking brain and the other is the heart. I wanted to give the thinking mind a break and I listened to my heart. I have an animal totem which is a snake because it reminded me to stay balanced because I don’t want to much of one side. It just so happened that when I did today’s meditation I found out that the animal totem is the snake. I need to shed the old and release what no longer serves.
I am taking a course with Journeywithjaynihypnothearapy.com
She does past life regression and she is going to help me with self empowerment as well. Experience hypnothearapy with the elements
OK, so I have finished my amulets as you can see the snake is at the top of the mountain in the middle you can see that there is a backwards eight which is infinite possibilities. I live in the mind of infinite possibilities. I shed the old I live in the middle.
The left side is the brain which needs to be nourished. I must have balance between the left brain the critical thinking brain I allow myself to let go No longer serves me.

I found an interesting book about spirit animals on Kindle Unlimited (SPIRIT ANIMALS: Harnessing the Power of Spirit Guides and Their Messages). It lists the different animals and talks about their strengths, shadow sides, and what that animal is trying to teach you. I made a list of the few animals that could be my spirit animals and I plan to dig deeper into this. Another thing is to look for signs from your spirit animal. This could be in your dreams or in your environment. I always dream about bears. Sometimes the bears are nice, but sometimes it’s a grizzly trying to eat me. I have had such vivid dreams about bears that I could feel and smell their breath. I read this book on Friday night while I was at work. On Saturday, I stopped at the store on my way home from work. I was looking for a little desk lamp to use at work. As crazy as this sounds, every aisle I went down had a bear of some sort. I went to the clearance aisle and found a lamp. Right beside that lamp, was a diamond art kit with a bear and her cub, and yes, I bought the diamond art kit.
People think I’m crazy when I shop with them and find unicorns just that easily. They come to us when we are open to them. I had to learn that I didn’t have to buy every unicorn I found on a quest, but I enjoy them all! I wanna take them all home and snuggle and give them all a good home!
I just watched a You Tube video about the bear spirit animal showing up in your life. It’s time to give yourself time to heal and reflect. This is spot on for me right now.
georgia,
thank you they are a reminder to work with the elements to like fire to ignite the flame in my soul. Or to get rid and banish something that is not serving me. Air to breath, Earth to stay grounded and poor the water out from my cup and to work with the spirit! Spirit guide me, and protect me. May all the elements and our totems be with us to help guide us. Snake shed the old and release anything that no longer serves me! Let go of all resentment anger, self sabotage, pain. Snake help me to stay balanced and when looking for the opportunity I will strike back at the right time and place. Snake helps me to rid myself of old thinking patterns and transform. Cobra Snake Totem @Ostara
Excellent Ostara I really enjoyed looking at this website I posted!
I am glad that you found some interesting insights to the shadow side prospective side. Also I love that we can look into the strengths too! I need to look a little harder into it and it does deserve some more of my time and effort. Honestly I have not dreamed much latley. But I have been noticing mountains all over the place for me. @Phoenix_Fire
I like the symbolism of the phoenix too I know what you mean! We can give credit to the the god or goddess but I am trying to see that I am powerful and like you said I want to give myself credit too where its deserved. @Phoenix_Fire You are powerful and dont ever forget it! You are a Phoneix Rising like the fire and flames its like a Firework inside!
You are and that fire , inside of you, the light ignites and keeps you bright! And be careful not to give your power away like I do. People will try to take your flame and its profound thank you for holding this space! Much love and keep smiling! I love your art its so beautiful and creative energy! I love it! I wish I could send you my rock to remember to stay grounded!

If you haven’t already shared an entry with the coven but would like to join in, this is your friendly reminder that you still have time left to do so.
Hmm. I’ve never seen these two put together like this. I wonder if I might find something useful by looking with new eyes if I rename the shadow as a holding place for potential. Thank you for the idea! You’re brilliant!
People used to call each other “bird brain” as an insult. Ah, we had so much to learn! Living animals as well as Spirit guides have so much more to teach us that it seems like, despite our ego, we are the dumb ones. This is a long video, but it is worth the time spent.

I love animals and i love ro losten to spirit to see what I am supposed be working on.
Being a Libra i am very intune with the air and birds.
The reoccurring birds I see are bald eagles, turkey vultures and hawks.
Lately when i travel and when i went to breitenbush for the hot springs I saw so many turkey vultures like 8 or 10 by the river and then in August I saw 8 of them hanging out at the beach.
Here is an image of them the day before at the beach- they were eating the reminants of a harbor porpoise.
I love the significance of them.
They have decernment. They ride the warm currents of the air. They pee on themselves to not be diseased and spread disease. They are called thr exorcist bird… read more here: Turkey vulture article
Happy belated birthday @Phoenix_Fire may your 40 be amazing and full of regeneration. I have enjoyed them thus far. @Jeannie1 what beautiful amulet!

A few weeks ago I was meditating and I “saw” a large tarantula walking across my ceiling, and then drop onto the top of a bookcase. Before I could register any emotion by it, I “saw” it again on the ceiling on the other side of the great room and then it disappeared. Tarantulas are not native where I live, but I searched anyway to see if I could find a live one in my house! I then looked it up, and I learned “…that as they move slowly, they teach patience and perseverance. They remind us to take our time working toward goals. They also teach unwavering focus and are a reminder that each step gets us closer to our purpose. Persevere through challenges, as the tarantula persists through harsh environments.” What really struck home was that this has been the focus of my meditations… I definitely saw this spirit animal vision as Goddess sent to remind me to be patient!
@celineelise
