But the Universe does not give us all that we want.

Just because a wish isn’t granted doesn’t mean that They aren’t watching over us Higher beings have a higher point of view- they can see things we can’t see, or even can’t fathom. But I still trust that They will help us along the path to become our best selves

Great point. If the gods gave us everything we wanted, we’d be like one of those spoiled kids in the store.
Once in a while, I do get what I want, only to realize I didn’t really want it after all. Such trips train the ego to look beyond the shiny novelty toward how well things work in our lives.
