Yes. I remember, maybe 40 years ago, a day trip to

And another to Columbus to a flower festival while the Santa Maria was there. It amazed me that Christopher Columbus traveled from Spain in such a tiny ship! My childhood home was about that size!

Anyway, yes, please have safe travels. Sorry for being scattered, tonight. Big day.

It’s been a while since I’ve participated in anything. It’ been a rough year. I’ve had two bad lung infections, and I cut a chunk out of my finger. I hope I can get back to things, but it’s been hard getting back into my old routiness.

Hi, @PuppetMama! It’s nice to see you here again! I’m sorry for your tough year: two lung infections and an injury like you described can certainly knock you back. :frowning:

An interesting stack of books there - is that your journal on top? It looks lovely!

I joined the Coven during your absence so we haven’t met - I’m Feathertip, from SE Michigan. I’ve been practicing for less than a year, though I’ve always been a pagan. Happy to meet you!

I agree that it can be challenging to pick up old routines, but I hope to see you here again soon!

Blessed be! :sparkles: :raising_hands: :feather:

Nice to meet you, @Feathertip That is my brand new journal on top. I got it at a paranormal convention I went to this summer with my whole family. There were a lot of witchy booths, and this one woman had traveled all the way from Salem, Mass to Alabama. She had stones that she carves into different things, cute bags, and leatherwork that her friend does. I bought a pyrite skull, a cross-body bag that says Book of Spells, and this handmade leather journal.

I’ve seen those cross body bags. They look fabulous. I hope all your treasures serve you well.

Oh, thank you for explaining this! It sounds like you and your family had a great time at the paranormal convention, and met some wonderful people at their booths! Your handmade journal is beautiful, and I’m sure the cross-body bad and your other goodies have been helpful in your practice, too. Thanks for sharing all this! :sparkles: :feather:

As promised, lovely! The sun shone today so it was bright enough for some decent photos of the book.

It’s a good-sized coffee table book, and the pages are silky smooth.

Sometimes the chapters focus on history, which I always like:

And here are some lovely overviews on herbs and crystals:

There’s a fun chapter on divination cards, but alas, no mention of Lenormand. ~sniffle~

And lastly, a discussion about the origins of Halloween:

I hope you feel a little better acquainted with the book! Keep saving those pennies and hopefully it’ll be on sale soon. :books:

It’s beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing the pics! And hey, maybe they’ll come out with a second edition or something with Lenormand Cards.

You’re welcome, sweetie! I’d love to see Lenormand get some attention.
