# 🏆 WITCH CHALLENGE ~ Catch-Up! \[Challenge #250\]

I wanted to try a multi-medium divination spread for the coming year - using Coastal Crow and Raven Tarot as well as the [bronze runes](https://forum.spells8.com/t/complete-handmade-bronze-rune-set/20507) I created, my [bioregional Ogham staves](https://forum.spells8.com/t/three-years-later-my-completed-bioregional-ogham-project/65368), and trying out my newly created [Winter Tree Divination tokens](https://forum.spells8.com/t/witch-challenge-holiday-crafting/65635/97).

## **Threshold of Years Spread**

**PART ONE: Honoring 2024 (Looking Back)**

1. **Achievement** (Tarot) - What I accomplished or grew into this year  
 The Chariot (Reversed) - What I accomplished this year might have been about _releasing control_ rather than seizing it.
2. **Challenge** (Rune) - The struggle or force I worked against/with  
 Mannaz - My challenge was about understanding myself in relation to others, working with community, finding my place among people.
3. **Hidden Gift** (Ogham) - What 2024 gave me that I might not fully see yet  
Miun - My hidden gift was Tenacity, the ability to bind and connect, finding strength through flexibility rather than rigidity

**PART TWO: Standing at the Threshold (The Now)**

1. **What I Release** (Rune) - What needs to fall away, what I’m leaving behind  
 Eihwaz - I am releasing something that needs to die so something else can be born.

2. **What I Carry Forward** (Ogham) - The roots/wisdom I’m bringing with me  
 Rowan - I carry forward Rowan’s fierce protective energy and its power to spark and quicken things into being, it’s my shield.

3. **My Current Foundation** (Tarot) - Where I actually stand right now  
The Magician - I’m standing with a foundation of mastery and agency, at the threshold as someone who know how to work magic.

**PART THREE: Tending 2025 (Looking Forward)**

1. **Seed to Plant** (Ogham) - What wants to grow, what I should nurture  
 Phagos - I am planting something that will matter for years, something rooted in deep knowledge.
2. **How to Tend It** (Tarot) - Guidance on cultivation and care  
 Two of Swords (Reversed) - To tend it I need to remove my blindfold and stop avoiding the difficult choice, stop trying to balance on the fence.
3. **Ally/Force** (Rune) - The energy or power available to support this growth  
Hagalaz - My ally is the storm that breaks things open, that smashes through obstacles.

**PART FOUR: Rooted Wisdom**

1. **Winter’s Teaching** (Piedmont Winter Tree) - What this season’s deep root-work reveals about your transition into 2026  
White Oak (_Quercus alba_) - It reveals my transition into the new year is about claiming my own authority, standing in my sovereignty, being the guardian of my own boundaries and sacred space.
