Challenge Entry
Transformation, but make it intentional
I cannot begin to express how aligned this challenge is with where I am and who I continue to become.
I began my journey roughly three years ago with a gentle nudge from some amazing people and then enlightenment that hit like a tsunami. Long story, short, my entire life finally made sense. I actually had HOPE.
A seed was planted that day that blossomed, and grew, and flourished into a beautiful garden of infinite knowledge. I learned all I could, and then I learned more, and then more. During my learning, I was training my brain, changing my mind, harnessing my nervous system, and building a person where there was but a story.
Ultimately, that is what transformation is to me. Being intentional with how, when, and where I grow.
This would probably make more sense to someone that knows me well, but it naturally, has to be on my terms. Nobody is better equipped to build who I am better than me.
I use magick to guide my transformative journey on a daily basis. I use magick when I set my intention. I use magick to help me ground myself in moments of chaos. I use magick to cast myself into the person, or state of mind, I choose.
Chaos magick is not only what I feel in my soul, but it explains exactly how my brain already works. Itās not about following rules. Itās about choosing belief on purpose. Not forever. Not perfectly, justā¦intentionally.
Chaos Magick teaches that belief is a tool. Something you can pick up, use, and set down when it no longer serves. Which means transformation isnāt about finding yourself. Itās about deciding who you are and stepping into it.
So, instead of asking āwho am I really?ā Iām asking āwho do I choose to be, and how do I start acting liker her today?ā For me, transformation looks like this:
Letting my past be part of my story, not the author of it.
Choosing growth even when itās uncomfortable.
Turning small moments into something meaningful.
Becoming someone I would have needed years ago.
Not waiting, not doubting, just building.
Because maybe transformation isnāt something that happens to us.
Maybe itās something we claim.
My favorit quote fits very well with this challenge:
āYes, you will rise from the ashes, but the burning comes first. For this part, darling, you must be brave.ā -Kalen Dion
