Sometimes everything it takes is a little paint, some glue or a few stitches to mend it.
With techniques like Kintsugi for ceramics and Sashiko or other visible mending techniques for fabric there is so much one can do to create unique pieces! 
And it benefits our hands and brains, too!!

*Witch Challenge *
I had some small copper wire that i had saved from another project and kust couldnāt toss them. I got bored durring work and grabbed some of my crystals and started plauing around with wire wrapping. Its a good first attempt. I also had some smaller pieces left. I had been looking for a pentacle but nothing was feeling right. I looked at my left over incense sticks and thought āI will connect better if it came from meā so here we are, ends of incense sticks and little bits of copper wire and a pentacle that is deeply personal.

That would be cool, but weād have to check with mail laws. There may be something in there about transferring bugs. Big companies do it, but they are better equipped to handle such things. If we could, Iād have different herbs than most people have access to, since Iām in a high desert.

I know! I used to think he was pretty odd for carrying them around like thatā¦ but he was barefooted when he needed to be and had shoes for when he needed to enter a buildingā¦ or for when he came across thistles! Innovative and cleverā¦

Wonderful Idea, I HATE shoes. Believe it or not, living here in Vegas as a kid, I used to walk barefoot, even in the summer. 100+ degrees

Witch Challenge Entry - Transforming Trash into Treasure
Hi everyone we are a creative Coven and I have loved reading all your entries so far.
I am very pleased with how they have turned out as they have been provided to me by nature they are a treasure.
I have created three charms which can be hung around the home using dehydrated slices & cinnamon sticks which I always have in my store cupboard as I add slices to drinks & decorating cakes the flowers and herbs are from my garden.
They are easy to make and you can adapt them in anyway to bring Prosperity, Luck, Love, Abundance, Inner Peace etc. The list is endless with numerous combinations.
ITEMS NEEDED
- Twine
- Dehydrated Slices of Orange, Grapefruit, Lemon, Lime or whatever you have.
- Your Chosen Botanicals
- Essential Oil (optional)
- Knife
STEPS
- Cut two lengths of Twine
- With your knife pierce through a middle segment of your chosen slice above the centre of the slice and thread one piece of twine through tie the twine around slice and make a knotted loop to hang the charm by
- Arrange your chosen Botanicals or whatever you wish could be feathers
little charms etc onto the second length of twine tightly. - Pierce the centre of the slice and thread both ends of the twine through.
- Loop one end of the twine under the twine that is already tied around the slice. This will help to keep the Botanicals in place once the charm is hanging.
- Tie the loose ends of the twine tightly and then trim.
- Optional you can tuck in more Botanicals to the front or add a few drops of essential oils.
I made the following with Dehydrated Slices of
Grapefruit Slice - Cinnamon Sticks & Rosemary
Orange Slice - Hissop Herb and Star of Jasmine (Trachelospermum Jasminoides) which very scented especially at night.
Lemon & Lime together - British Lavender Stems (Munstead)
NOTE - As they are highly scented I did not use any essential oil.
I definitely will make more as you could hang them in your wardrobe and if you did not want to hang them then you can put them in drawers and refresh them when needed. A natural way to bring scent into your space.

Challenge entry
I had a small wreath hoop lying around, so I grabbed some waxed dental floss, and made a dream catcher. I added a brass bead to the center, and made fringe with some alpaca yarn. I may add more to it, but i like it!

Challenge Entry
Let me tell you about my art room, and if I have already, I apologize - brain fog is strong with this one. My art room is more than an art room. It is my place to be me - messy, creative, magical, spiritual, full of spice, secretly nice. Everyone who has ever been invited into my room, never wants to leave, even though it is only roughly 7ft x 30ft. It is filled with much of the things I find weird and wonderful, but it is also filled with so much more. The cabinet in the picture I found when my husband and I started dating and the very first time he and I went thrifting/antiquing together. It called to me and made itself my apothecary cabinet. The shelf to the right, with the gnomes, is another find on one of our adventures. The gnomes, every one, was gifted to me by my husband , just to see me smile. The little glass thing on top is an ornament with a tiny gnome inside. Given to me by my husband -again, to see me smile. A couple of the paintings were part of a at-home date night challenge we had, and the other paintings are from one or more of my children. The senior picture is my husband from so many years ago. If you look slightly right of the pink tray that holds the incense burner, youāll see something round. It is a raw, unbroken amethyst he found in the yard and knew I couldnāt live without it. The incense burner came from son #2 the basket was handmade for me by my mother-in-law. It is the home of my extra herbs, candles, offering plate, and parchment. What you canāt see are the many, many stuffed animals - each one with a story, and some with names - as to how they became mine. There is a small whit Christmas tree that holds the ornaments Iāve been gifted and the walls are filled with various pictures and crafts my children have done for me or given to me. And then, thereās the built in art desk, hand made by my husband. This is special though. You see, I have some diagnosed mental health challenges and he has, quite literally, saved my life. Once I began my healing journey, he learned a very little detail of my emergency plan. He knew when to approach, when not to, when to push, and so on. I had been struggling for a bit and he knew my best distraction techniques involved being creative. The tables we had were either too big for my room or not suitable for art. So he bought the wood and built the desk all in a day. Not only that, but he found my art supplies and had it completely set up for me, including my broom, which he hung on the wall. So, my friends, the reason everyone feels at peace in my art room is because it is filled with pieces of love. And it all started with the thrifted cabinet.
