Witchcraft becoming mainstream

Ok. Just got back from town, maybe I’m old school and showing my age here, but a few years ago, you couldn’t find Ouija, witchcraft, voodoo products anywhere. You’d have to go to a specialist store in some back alley. Now it’s in HMV, gift shops, like openly on show. Some is pop culture, sure, but alot I saw today was genuine stuff. I just thought, you know, that’s good. It’s a start to opening the broom closet. Our day will come. Here’s some of the cute stuff I got.
A crystal charging plate
A voodoo keychain.

No, it’s not you. There have been media reports of the increased popularity of both Wicca, Witchcraft and all types of paganism.
I can’t say that it’s not a good thing. For me, we all are, regardless of witch-type, animists.

Same here, just noticed an interview on BBC radio sounds app about the return of the old religion to the UK. Going to give it a listen. Thanks for the link, going to read that. I wonder if other countries are seeing this too? :sparkling_heart:

Those are so cute! I know I saw the little plate in your other post, but it’s just sooo adorable!

I’d say a lot of westernized countries are, for sure. I don’t have any concrete evidence of that :joy: but I can see it based on my personal experiences and those of my friends!

Nice- you found some fun treasures! :sparkles:

Funny you mention it- I just popped into a Spirit Halloween (couldn’t believe they are already open- I thought they were only around in October!) and was surprised to see an entire section on Wicca- the decor wasn’t too surprising, but I couldn’t believe they had actual spellbooks for sale.

Spirit Halloween used to just be costumes and Halloween trinkets- but now there’s a whole place for actual magick and spell craft. Times are a-changing, and I’m not complaining! :witch_hat:

The more witchy stuff and the easier to get it, the better if you ask me! :mage:

@TheTravelWitch_Bry I totally agree, it’s good for me, but not so great for the wallet. :joy::heartpulse:

Same here- I was surprised, but certainly not in a bad way! It a fun place to get Halloween decor, especially if you can make a trip there on November 1st. They have some amazing sales right after Halloween! :jack_o_lantern: :grinning:

I went to the local bookstore and they had actually just expanded their Witchcraft section. Everything shown is related to Witchcraft, divination etc. I also had to make a run to Joanns Fabrics, they had some amazing deals out for Halloween on Sale for 40% off.

The Halloween stuff is already 40% off!?! I feel like back in the day we had to wait for Halloween to be over to get those kind of deals  Not that I’m complaining haha- I’ll need to plan a trip to Joann’s! :grinning:

Your bookstore looks like it has loads of fun magickal books- that’s awesome, Isabella! :mage: :books:
