Im so glad you posted this for your Challenge. Where I live, we have the biggest, baddest tree on my street! If it wasnāt so dark outback I would take a picture.
I have a garden, a crow house that lights up and I never thought about meditating with her! I will now, thank you for that.
I already shared but i just did a money bowl spell and thought it came out so good. Theres Runes incorporated on the bottom of the bowl and on the petition. I also worked with the wheel of fortune card in there. I made a noney oil to dress the candle with after i etched the amount i was asking for.
I love your collection and your photos are stunning! Are those red pine needles wrapped in the paper towels? I took a class on basket weaving with them. Though I must admit, I never did anything with it except for the tiny basket we made in class.
Itās always good to know how, even if you donāt use it at the moment. We never know what may happen in the future. This is why I spent so much of my youth studying pioneer crafts- just in case we do have a war which sets humankind back to the beginning. It would still be upsetting, but I am confident I could survive if I have the strength to get what I need. Availability becomes the issue rather than knowing what to do with what I can find.
I have a smaller beech tree in my backyard that I leave offerings to as the grand old beech is about a 15-minute walk from my house. I hope your meditation with your tree is wonderful and grounding! I look forward to seeing pictures of her
How funny that you noticed them and knew what they were! Yes, they are Loblolly pine needles that I gathered a few months ago and dried, then separated them by length and wrapped in paper towels to keep them organized. I am planning on learning to weave baskets with them.
My first woven baskets were from local grass, which was harder to make than I expected but fun! Iāve made a basket from leftover lavender stems and was so thrilled with it, that I wanted to learn more! Enter pine needlesā¦
Well, it was a no-brainier for me what to show off. The only problem is that my collection is online at Amazon in my Library. There are mostly Wiccan and Pagan books but there are some regular titles as well, and itās difficult to sort them out online. Especially since I have 908 books in said Library.
So yeah, here are some pictures of my collection. The first is my first Magick book, True Magick by Amber K. I had that in paperback for years till it fell apart. Then thereās the rest of my collection. Hope youāre not too overwhelmed by all the pics! LOL!
Yeah, thatās not all but I thought Iād spare you twelve pics of my computer screen. As you can see Iām glad for my Kindle. Iād never have room in my apartment for all that!
Hi Hazel Rae. I need to do the same and get back to finishing my Challenges. I was so excited when I found Spells 8 that I let my other responsibilities go on the back burner. So I had to do some catching upā¦but I think Iāve got this under control. Iāll know if I get this challenge in on time.
This is my first ever Pagan altar. I donāt have a cauldron, yet, but Iāve had this glass ashtray for ages and I havenāt used it for anything other than incense in over a decade, so I thought Iād use it for some White Sage and consecrate a few things. The black standard for it was found at Dollar General in the candle holder section (itās wood) and I found the succulent with ceramic orange skull planter at our local grocery store (it wouldāve been black, but that one got dropped! ). The Yeti tumbler was for moon water, even though I feel asleep on the couch waiting for the Super Beaver Moon to become visible, and the Bear Staff (walking stick) was inherited from my grandmother when she passed away (not consecrated yet, until I figure out how I want my outside altar in the yard). The altar, itself, is an old TV stand, still in good condition.
This is wild. I was just wondering where I can share my updates with my website and then I saw this challenge entry.
Long story short, Iām turning my website into my digital BOS. Itās very much a work in progress and there are a lot of features I havenāt implemented yet, including a lot of photos that I need to add. But Iāve made good progress so far, so Iām happy with that.
So thatās the main page. Itās looking a little bare right now. But I like that itāll be quick and easy to get anywhere from anywhere, whether thatās from the home page or any other page.
My deities and demons section will be huuuuge.
Iām quite proud of my little wheel!
This is another section that will be huge. Iām looking forward to adding search, filter, and sort functions.
This was the hardest part so far. Just getting the illumination of the moon right, setting the location, etc. Then realising I need to flip the moon for the southern hemisphereā¦ So much work.
Iām also looking forward to collecting all of my spells here! Bwahahaha!
@starborn, is your website using a super organized program you wrote, or is this normal fare? Dumb question from a non techie, here. It looks wonderful! Iām still stuck on using Windows folders, notepad, pdf, pics, wma, and mp3s.
I live for the Sea and expression of all art as well as exploring nature, capturing captivating inspiration in every possible form and giving gratitude to my angels, guides and ancestors for the elements as well as personalization of my offerings to them through my own creative process.
Itās a whole website Iām designing and coding. So, for example, the code for the main Sabbats page (excluding the navigation bar across the top) looks like this:
Thereās actually a bit more, but thatās the general idea. Thatās why itās taking so long to get much doneāI have to write up the content for web and also code the website.
Anyway, when itās in a nicer state, Iāll share the link/URL. But right now, itās got some errors that prevent me from showing it off.
